Rocky,
It is usually not promising if you are getting little or no erection from any shot, but it is hopeful that you still might get liftoff because the formula you have is very weak. As mentioned your prescription is not really BiMix but is Trimix-Minus-One. It should be more powerful than real BiMix which would be 30mg Pap + (1 or 2) mg Phent per ml (and no PGE-1).
One factoid to go by is that most men need 10-20mcg of PGE-1 delivered to get an erection (no matter how many mls it takes).
So you could easily go all the way to a 1 ml shot to see if 10mcg is gonna do it for you or not.
Even at that level you are only 1/2 way there to 20 mcg (which would take a 2 mls shot) in one shot.
Since Phent is a small amount you might as well just consider your shot to be just PGE-1 all by itself.
(As mentioned it would usually be Phent 1 mg/ml for normal Trimix and 1 or 2mg/ml for real Bimix)
Might as well keep using it all up and see.

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.

If you aren't getting ANY response with injections....that's a clue. In the test, they actually give you an injection.
I would try an adjustable constriction band (I use one for enhanced performance..no leak) to see if it helps. For *minor* leaks it may. You place it on right after injecting (or before). Make sure it's adjustable or has *handles* for easy removal when erect. BTW, if you have a significant leak, get an IMPLANT...not venous surgery. Covered by Medicare.
I'll probably give the trimix a shot first as others have suggested just to see if that formula is more helpful than the bimix. If not, then I 'll see my doctor again and discuss other options, including what you mentioned.
Re: New bimix formula
Thanks for the advice. I came here with a lot of question and everyone has offered some great advice. I'm hoping that there's an easy solution to my problem. I live 80 miles round trip from my urologist and 150 miles from the only compounding pharmacy so it all could get very time consuming and expensive.
Is there a way to buy the trimix online and if so where. Hopefully I can find a cheaper option. Right now my bimix costs $95 for 5ml and the trimix will run $115 to $120 for 5ml. Any suggestions?

Re: New bimix formula
Sounds like those prices are about what I pay for quad-mix.
I think some guys have had success with Talon Pharmacy in Texas.Link:

I think I'll have them give me a quote when I order again.

What would you call significant? I had a Doppler done 2 weeks ago, and the doctor told me the ratio of blood entering the penis vs blood flowing out was 35%.

Re: New bimix formula
I found these. They have some newer models. You can register and ask what they recommend. I still need injections but at a low dose.

I'm not an MD....but that's *significant* in my book. Inflow is only 35% of outflow.
Re: New bimix formula
I recently started with the same formulation of Bimix. Granted it seems to be a bit "unusual" based on the number of postings here and ads from ED clinics, but not unheard of. There are longer term side effects of Papeverine (scarring) that may be the reason for your doc to prescribe this formulation.
I had similar experiences in the first 6 injections. I, too went up to 40 units, but I was having issues of getting it injected properly - I apparently was not getting through the tunica into the corpus. I went back to the urologist and got another lesson. He had me change 2 things :
1. Injecting about 1-1.5 inches behind the glans instead of close to the base of the Penis.
2. Injecting at the "10:30" and "1:30" positions instead of 9 and 3.
I also started massaging the injection site for about 2 minutes after injecting. This is something I read but not specifically mentioned by my doctor. He also asked me to "feel" for the resistance of piercing the tunica, which I am now able to do.
Result: Super erections for longer than I wanted - 4-5 hours at 100% hardness. I have dropped back down to 2 units and it's still too much and too much aching for my tastes, but my wife is very happy.
Based on postings here, I'm going to drop my dosage down to around 1.2 units as some men have had success with this little. I'd like to get down to about a 90-120 minute erection. I have also read that the aching sometimes goes away after a couple of months, so I'm going to wait and try more attempts before asking the doc to consider a trimix formulation which some guys say alleviates the ache.
Good luck.
