I agree with alibaba. Let it heal another week or be patient and take baby steps. When all is said and done, with a 20cm implant you're looking at roughly 5.2 inches rough estimate not including glans engorgement.

So the problem must be that I'm not inflating all the way and that's why it's shorter.
Implanted by Dr. Andrew Kramer 2/22/17. 18 cm AMS LGX with 2 cm RTE's (total 20cm).

Activated 3/11/17. Best decision I've ever made.

We've all been there. It can be a tough time after surgery. The pain, the second guessing. You picked a great surgeon. I'm confident you'll be happy soon. Just gotta be patient.

FROGGY: things are going to get better.
Remember, at the three month point, you will feel like you are back to your normal self and you can do all the things that you could before surgery AND you will have a dick that can perform on demand for hours in anyplace, at anytime, and with any woman.

I know that you have concerns about length/girth/deflate/pain etc. Please keep thinking about the three month point, you need to "give this time" and it is normal to have a rough go during the first month.

Also, do not forget where you were and who you were before the surgery. To put it bluntly, you were a hopeless young man with no ability to have good sex. Approaching women was either scary or futile because you knew that you could not "finish what you were trying to start"

Now, all that will be totally different once your implant is working and once you learn how to use it in the field.

Of course, do remember that the primary purpose of the implant is to "allow you to have penetrative sex." That is all that you should hope for. All this talk about "glans engorgement" and "girth expansion" and "no length loss" is secondary icing on the cake that just might or might not happen for you. And you must realize that it is OK, since you still will have a bionic dick that can last for hours.

Some men on this site mention that they give women pleasure with oral sex, and the implant is there to give the man the pleasure -- Remember that. Few women climax through penetrative sex.

Finally, I think that it might be true that your second implant can be longer and girthier than your first, and that your third maybe longer again (but I do not know that). So, do realize, that there is some hope for bigger things 15 years from now.

I know that this is an emotional roller coaster, but you chose a top surgeon who worked really hard to get you the best possible result on earth.

Be thankful that you do not have an infection
Be thankful that you are able to work
Be thankful that each day will get a little better
Be thankful that you can have sex for hours
Be thankful that you had the courage and means to have implant surgery
Be thankful that you have been cured of ED
"Strive to find the best surgeon--experience really matters"
(63 yo, Titan 22cm implant Feb 2017 by Dr Eid) I'm super pleased with my length/girth/implant performance. See my story at "The road to becoming a bionic male: Answers ..."

RichardtheFrog,

Did you read the article at the link I posted on anther thread ("Size with the implant")? Please tell us what did you think, especially of the length difference among those who followed the protocol vs the ones who dropped out because of discomfort/pain?

Found in this thread;
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6814
This article refers to the differences that early activation vs no early activation of the inflatable prosthesis
Title" Pseudo-capsule “coffin” effect: How to prevent penile retraction after implant of three-piece inflatable prosthesis
Authors: Enrico Caraceni, Lilia Utizi, Giovanni Angelozzi; Department of Urology, Civitanova Marche Hospital, Italy.
Short Summary: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25017596
Longer summary: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25017596
with this sentence: "The result is a penis bigger in flaccid state but smaller in erect phase, when early activation is not performed"
Full article: https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... prosthesis

I don't want to minimize your pain, but stretching out those tissues is part and parcel of what you signed up for when you elected the surgery. Just as I did with my shoulder surgeries (6 weeks of painful stretching and strengthening) and am expecting to have as I recover from my own implant when I get it.

The pain you are experiencing now is merely an extension of the surgery, necessary for the proper outcome. If Dr. Kramer had stopped in the middle of surgery and implanted the device but no pump, you would not have a good outcome. If you stop in the middle of your post-op rehab, you will not have a good outcome, either.

You must complete the program if you want a good outcome.

Okay so how often should I inflate and how long should I keep it hard for? Dr. Kramer says it doesn't matter.

I did it slow and steady.
Activation/training at 4.5 weeks.
5 min twice a day for the first week
20 min twice a day for 2nd week.
Since then Ive been stretching the time and at 2.5months I was doing the hour.
At 3 months I cut it back to once a day for an hour (no time in the morning).

As for number of pumps at first I did it as hard as I could stand and it was painful.
After the first few days I decided to pump only to the point of discomfort just when I could feel it in the perineum or head whichever came first.
At 4 months Im still getting more and more pumps in. And I haven't even yet got to 2 thumbs mode yet (but getting close)!

I do advocate patience but I know you are super eager.

As for sex, only pump up to where you don't feel anything. It is likely even this softish mode is hard enough for enjoyable sex. I did this at 4.5 weeks. First I did it too hard and it hurt and couldn't enjoy it. I deflated a bit and then we tried again (same session) and it was great. Penetration still worked great. Even then it took a couple of more weeks to get an orgasm during sex. If penetration is still a problem, pump up harder, penetrate and deflate while inside! We can do this because we are extra-human now. Life is great with such control.

There are many other ways to use your new tool.
Remember you are really pushing the envelope at 2.5 weeks. Be inventive to control the pain. You have the tool and a brain. Use them both and adapt to your unique circumstances.

With your LGX it will keep on growing quite noticably every time you cycle. Reserve judgement until at least 3 months. Do your cycling. The length will come. You are no where near max yet.
A bit different with a titan as it doesnt grow that much but I even notice that too is growing but not as much as you would see from an LGX.

Patience is a virtue. (not that you want to hear that)
cheers

So are you saying I should start cycling now or wait a week for the pain to stop? Will this make a difference in final length?

Didn't you just say that Dr Kramer says it doesn't matter? Who are you going to believe, your doctor or random people on the interwebs? You need to stop obsessing and let some time pass. You can't speed up the clock no matter what you do.

Well that's good because it hurts like a bitch and I'd rather just give it time to hopefully stop hurting.
