Hi Folks! I have been on here for about a week now and have already met so many really nice people. I would never have been able to open up about this to anyone until I found this site.
My name is Arthur or Art, I am 59 and divorced five years ago. Back in January I was in a car accident and broke my pelvis in 6 places. The doctor told be that I would most likely have nerve damage and that I may have some erectile dysfunction as a result. Well up until last month I was not that concerned about that, I was still getting back on my feet and I am still using a cane. So last month I decided to give it a go and see what happened, which unfortunately was a whole lot of nothing. I tried numerous time after that with no results. Up until the accident I was still very sexually active and had three regular partners. I am divorced and had really been enjoying the single life and sex. I received a prescription for Viagra and tried that but the best I could do was a barely semi erection. I am seeing my urologist tomorrow morning, hopefully we can try the injections. I am Looking forward to chatting more with you kind folks.

Nice to have you and enjoyed chatting in the chatroom. You will like this place it is filled with good folk!! I am pleased you are on the road to recovery with walking as well as beginning to rehab the big boy. As you know there is a lot of experience here so if there is a ?. jut ask away.
We all face the same issues regardless of etiology and getting our balance and beginning to work on a better outcome is a big part of the return to function. Have at it and enjoy the process.

Re: Greeting Everyone
Hi Art,
Welcome aboard.
Glad you are recovering from your injuries.
I developed Erectile Dysfunction (ED) Post Prostatectomy in February 2004.
Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, etc. did not work for me.
In December 2007 I had the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure done and this corrected my ED and restored my
sex life. This option is there for men who have not had success with other treatment modalities for ED.
Wishing you all the best for a complete recovery.
