I wish sometime doctors listen to us. When my doctor agreed with me to use Trimix from using Caverject because I couldn't get had enough for penetration. Now with the formula she gave me I can't even get an erection. Last night with my girlfriend it was embarrassing. One thing I told my doctor I didn't want to play with the forumla do to the cost but I guess she just didn't hear me. She will on Monday or I will get a new doctor.

Just wondering your thoughts on when you started on trimix, how many times did you have to change the formula until you were satisfied.

This is not what you probably want to hear but moving from caverject to trimix is a big change and most doctors if not all are cautious with initial formula. I would also think he/she based trimix formula on what your caverject dose was. Caverject is made up of alprostadil at 5, 10, 20 or 40 micrograms.

So to better answer your question can you share what was your last caverject dose and what was the trimix formula??

Hi Leesburg thanks for the response.

My Caverject was impulse 20mcg and iminjected all 20 which I was able to get an erecrion, but was not strong enough for penetration. My trimix is
Papaverine 22.5/Phen0.83/PGE-1 8.33 and last night I injected 50 units with no erection just a very limp penis. Which is how it's been for the first two ejejections. We will be together later today and I will trum50 again and see where it leads.

I will post this evening with results.

Well since you were on caverject dose 20 (not sure why he didn't go to dose 40 before trimix) the doctor started you on very low trimix dose. He needs to raise it up for you to at least 20/30/1.

You neglected to mention how much of current formula you injected. Since you got zero erection you can increase units to 50 or more.

50 Twice of that formula would still be less (17ug) Alprosdadil than the full 20ug (100 units) of Caverject, albeit the modest addition of the other components in Trimix. If you got a weak response with 40ug (1CC or 100 units) Caverject, then you need to get Trimix formula with at least 40ug/Ml as a component and start with 50 units there. I would suggest using an adjustable cock ring after injecting to enhance erection. That's what I do.

The first thing that concerns me is if you injected into the cavernosa.
This could all be academic if you didn't get in the right place.
My initial formula got me where I needed it to be, but only at a very high dose.
My doc readily agreed to increase my formula and it worked pretty well.
It eventually started to require higher dosages, so I stepped it up to a pretty high (not the highest) formula of quad-mix.
Now, I'm injecting 10 units and it seems to be sufficient.

I'm pretty sure I hit the spot. The thing that is bothering me is that I can't even get an erection at least with both caverject 40 and the caverject impulse I was able to get an erection but not strong enough for penetration, tomorrow we agreed to try again and I'm going to shoot 50 units.

We will see how it goes.
