Thanks Dr. Kramer!!

Postby Moto33 » Sat Apr 15, 2017 11:49 am

I had a pretty difficult case to deal with. Unfortunately I had prostate surgery About 18 months ago. Injections seemed to do the trick during the past year. That was until I had a couple bad episodes of priapism, followed up by shunt surgery. That was one of the most painful ordeals of my life! Unfortunately this left me with scarring and a choice of an implant or nothing.
I sought out the best surgeons I could find in Ohio. The first doctor a very well know specialist said I had a 75% chance of success. The second also a very well known Specialist gave me a little hope. In fact his demeanor was very frustrating. That led me to doing a lot of research and finding this site. That's where I found Dr. Kramer in Baltimore.

Dr. Kramer as some of you know has a great personality and is extremely skilled! I had the surgery 4 weeks ago. I had very, very, little pain. The operation was also a success. My thanks to a true leader in the field! Unfortunately I did lose some size but I have no doubt that was due to the priapism and not at all related to the surgery. I'm hopeful with some aggressive cycling I can gain some size back. I was just activated 2 days ago. If anyone has some advice please don't hesitate. Thanks again to Dr. K!

Wow! You are the first case of a person I read, as in first person experience of a shunt after a priapism. Which of the procedures did you have? For sure that caused extensive fibrosis on the penis, no?

I'm not that sure which type of shunt it was. All I know is it was the most painful surgery I've ever had and unfortunately I've had a few! The doctor said I may be too sensitive to the injections. It doesn't matter now since I had the implant.

Regarding the fibrosis Dr Kramer said I had some but not nearly as bad as the doctors in Cleveland led me to believe.
