I was under the impression that a bladder scope was normally done with a local anesthetic?

Bob,

Thanks a lot for your report. I had surgery with Dr Eid on the 21th October, will post a report later but my experience is very similar to yours. I am just curiors about one of your comments: "I have actually cycled the implant a few times to try it out"
According to the instruction activation should take place 4 to 6 weeks after surgery. Are you alrready pumping?

Rontal, Ive had two consultations with Dr.Eid and Im thinking about whether I should go thru with the procedure in the new year..very tough decision for me. If you don't mind..a couple of questions..

1. Were you satified with the outcome? Did you have a lot of pain? Did you get the Titan? Did you lose any size?..I found Dr. Eid to be very friendly and his reputation is excellent.

Thank you for any information you can give me. Frank

It doesn't seem all that bad and it is good news to know the Dr. Eid is so thorough. I have the bladder tests Thursday and looking forward to the procedure because I am anxious to get all the prelims over with. I am very comfortable with the doctor and he seems very concerned and understanding of each individual's problem.

Glad to hear all the pre and post procedures and outcomes. I know what to expect and hopefully can use all this information to get me through this.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with Dr. Eid also...hope the healing process goes well for you too!

To answer your question, yes I did pump up and deflate the implant a few times after about a week when in the tub or shower. Not fully inflated mind you, but just to see how it worked. I felt really good and decided to just try it out. It made me sore in the glans area and after I thought about it I decided to just leave it alone to heal up. I was in Dr. Eid's office on the 21st getting my stitches out probably while you were in surgery! That took all of 5 minutes for Sylvia to do. All looks well according to her. I am still sore in the shaft and glans areas but overall not bad at all. I am just about three weeks post op as of tomorrow so things are moving along...just waiting to put it to use!

Bob
