How long does it take for pump to seat

I am going on day 18 and my left ball where the pump is hurts all the time,also around the base deep inside me I have a lot of pain.
Does any one know how much longer this will go on?
I missed the first week after the operation then went back to work for a week now I am on the 3rd week and staying at home I wouldn't be any good at work to much pain
I have been wearing boxer shorts so ever thing down there just swings,I am wondering if I got some jockey shorts if that would help?
Any way any advice you guys want to give will be appreciated

Ditch the boxers now. Go out and get yourself a pair or two of jockstraps. This way you are more contained and this should help with any swelling. I remember whenever I did not have a jock on, the hanging feeling was irritating. Since you havent hit week 4 yet, i would be patient. Things will get better but it will take about 10 weeks or so to feel 100%. This was for me, obviously everyone is different. Laying down helped me alot vs. sitting. I could not sit for more than 10 minutes until about week 5-6. For whatever reason it was just too painful after enough sitting time. Oh and it helped me to stuff the jock with gauze or padded material so there was no motion at all.

What minnesota said, but I would add the you might find Jockey Pouch briefs to be comfortable, I tried jock straps and compression shorts too but I was more comfortable with the pouch briefs which I still use. I got a pressure feeling when standing that produced some pain unless I had somthing holding or suporting my scrotum and also keeping willie pointed up helped and again the pouch briefs helped that. Maybe do what I did, buy all three (pouch briefs, jock strap, and comression shorts) and see which one feels the best. Not everybody is the same. Nine months post op. I can now wear any type of underwear but I still use the pouch briefs because I lke my pump to be kept form "banging" around too much. Thing at four weeks were just starting to feel ok for me, so hang in there you are almost done.

thanks guys for the info it made me feel better.The Dr has had attibodies for a week a shot ever day and 4 horse pills in the morning and evening ur suppose to eat with them but takeing them makes me sick
Any way I seem to be feeling better today
I will see if I can find a jock strap used to have some but thats been years ago I have always wore jocky shorts but the boxers seemed to feel better,it kind of hurts when I pukk my dick up to my stomach but then it feels ok My wife and me r wondering if we made the right call on this but hopefully things will start to get better

Try eating yogurt when you take antibiotics. It should settle your stomach.

Another note: the pump will continue to break away from your testicals and the skin as time goes on. Just continue to gently pull down as your doctor said and dont be afraid to feel around. Evetually usable and mobolity will help the pump & testical "relationship" as well. In time my friend.

I'm at 44 days after surgery and I'm pulling on pump everyday, but it still seems too close to the base of my penis on inflation, ( I have alot of difficulty finding and pushing the deflate button.) Will it seperate from the surrounding tissues or will it scar in place? and how long do I have to keep pulling, trying to get it down. It is very sore from the corners at the top of the pump. How long will it stay sore?

Magnum. If it is still sore, then I would guess it is still healing. If it is still healing, I would guess the chances are that it will still move. Once you are able to inflate and deflate, I think some of that will break apart and it will re seat. But you are getting later into the recovery so things will more likely start to be where they are now.
