Greetings From Baton Rouge

Postby fbrown1056 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 10:44 am

Greetings everyone, I like many others have found this site by doing research on the internet. Have lurked here for some time and have found much needed information from you guys. A lot of valueable knowledge here, so I decided to join the group.

A little about me, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in June 2008. Had a Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy in February 2009 at MD Anderson in Houston. Still cancer free but have ED. MD Anderson put me though the oral therapy and penile injections for my ED with no success. My next step is a penile implant which is scheduled for October 25 at MD Anderson.

The implant surgery is what brought me to the site. Not alot of information about this procedure that is not aurthored by companies who make implants or doctors who install them. It is really nice to be able to get information from the patient's point of view.

I would be curious to know if anyone has had the penile implant surgery at MD Anderson or used Dr. Run Wang.

Thanks

Frank

Welcome Frank,
This is the best resource for implant info/experience by the owners themselves; bar none! Hang around, somebody with one will get ahold of you soon. If you have time come visit in the chat room. That may speed things up.

Thanks Cajun Jeff,

I will keep you guys informed on the procedure. Scheduled for a week from Tuesday on 10/25. Dr. Wang is going to install the Coloplast Titan. From what I read it is a good product but that is one thing I have been trying to research. Curious to see if the gentleman from St. Francisville had his surgery at MD.

Thanks for making me welcome.
