When using my VED I notice that if I use a much smaller ring than the one I normally use the erection is harder and bigger than using the larger ring. Although the larger ring works it seems as if using the smaller one feels better and causes the erection to be harder. My concern is by using the smaller/tighter ring can it cause any damage to the penis over time? I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and if so what are your thoughts on using the smaller ring?

To me the largest one that works is better. Too tight means less time. It is tricky. With injections, the same.

Well having the ring on too long can cause issues with lack of blood flow. You can tell by the glans (head) if it gets cold (about 30 min) to the touch ... remove the ring for a few ... then start over again.

Once you restrict the blood flow you have around 20 - 30 minutes before your penis becomes ischemic. Other than comfort I don't think a smaller ring matters.

If you prefer the effect of a smaller ring then go for it! Just don't forget the timer starts once the blood flow is restricted.

I find that with the larger rings, my penis head does not get as 'cold'. There must be some circulation, perhaps just enough. With the smallest rings it will get cold after 30 minutes (as mentioned above). In any case the 30 minute, remove, and start over plan is a healthy one.

I used the smallest I could find. It took two to keep erection firm. Dick hard as a rock balloon. It was pure hell taking them off. Now happily implanted.

Much better huh Donnie. I couldn't seem to get a good firm erection with a ring and injection. Never really got hard enough. But I won't have to worry about that come 6/9. It will be implant time, oh yeah.

A VED was the only way I could get a hard dick. It was like a huge rock balloon and my wife hated it. Intercourse for her was painful. I didn't​ know it at the time. Taking the 2 constriction rings off was pure H. So happy those days are gone forever. You and your wife will love your implant
