can anxiety stop injections from working?

there is some debate here, that these injections work whatever

my hormones are normal, doppler was fine.. but sometimes, when I inject my caverject.. my penis goes limp again after 20-30 minutes, other times it can stay hard for a few hours

of course I could of missed the spot, but i doubt it.. i notice when im anxious it seems to lessen the effect of the medication.. any thoughts?

Since nervous/anxiety can produce adrenaline it is thought that it can knock back an erection sometimes.

Note that Epinephrine shots -- like an Epi-Pen (used to stop a 4+ hr erection in the ER) is adrenaline.
Phenylephrine shots are also used for priapism -- and it acts just like adrenaline too.

In fact one way to knock down a too long or hard erection is to do some running, exercise, fighting off a bear, or even fast highway driving (or maybe city driving would be better?). All produce adrenaline.
