Like you I had robotic RP earlier this year - January.
Result: one minute I was holding my water and ejaculating everywhere, and the next minute the reverse.
Was referred to physiotherapy for training of the pelvic floor muscles, and that has helped greatly on the water front, to the point that I'm now essentially dry in normal activity.
Early orgasms were a bit wet and pissy: maybe a couple teaspoons-full or so. Gradually that has diminished too - to the point of a few drops, and not always.
So, I'm thinking that time and pelvic floor training have helped bring it within manageable limits.
As far as having the mighty sword functional, though, nada. Hence have just undergone implantation, to be transformed into a weapon of mass excitement once more.

I too went to a P.T. for pelvic floor muscle therapy but it didn't help much. I read a study that said a percentage of men get little or no help from doing the kegel exercises. I did them for about a year with no improvement in the last 6 months. Next week I will see my Uro to discuss possible surgery for a "sling." I know very little about the procedure but any improvement will help. I leak about 10 grams a day (considered moderate). 85% of men in that category are helped by a sling. I have to watch liquids prior to sex too. A nurse told me to use a constriction device around the base of my penis as just a little pressure will stop the urine flowing. I haven't tried it yet. I use a foam rubber constriction band now around my penis and scrotum to help force blood to my glans to enlarge it. It helps some and it helps my erection to stand up instead of pointing to 3:00 o'clock. It makes my glans a little larger and more sensitive. My R.P. was in June 2016 and I am waiting for the nerves that control erection to start working (yeah right) again. I think there has been some little improvement but very minor. My wife does not like urine (and a lot of other things) so I really need to resolve the incontinence.

Reggleman, don't get discouraged yet. At one year it's still early. I was slow to improve on continence but I eventually did. I'm not totally 100% but pretty close. I improved slowly, taking a good 3 years to maximum improvement. I found very long walks to be the best therapy. Struggling to not pee yourself for a 4 mile walk is great training.

Did you do kegels the whole time you waited for the improvement in incontinence to acquired? I couldn't see the value in continuing the exercise so I stopped last month.

I didn't mention anything about Kegels in my post on the previous page, but:

Before RP surgery in June 2012, I went every week for six weeks to get "trained" to do Kegels properly. I've been doing them daily since the catheter came out.

Did they help any? There is no way of knowing.

My best friend went through the same thing about a year after I did and he has never done Kegels post-surgery. He has less leakage problems than I do.

Reggleman, I did kegles in the beginning after surgery but pretty much quit after a good while. I found long walks works better. If like me you will pee yourself on the walks. I wouldn't wear a pad so I I'd have more incentive to hold it. I did have to hide in the bushes a number of times. I did 4 mile walks. The first 3 were pretty easy. The last mile was struggle. For me that worked way better than regular kegles.

I imagine most if not all of us post-RP guys sometimes/often have this problem. 6.5 years post-RP and having had three penile implants in four years, I do lose a little pee here and there during sex. I'm generally with professional women. Some mention it, some don't. Only one ever really complained about it and she just didn't like me, period. When mentioned, I'll smile and say 'i'm sorry...you know I really don't come here to pee in your mouth but I can't really help it'. I've repeated with several of these girls many times. It's not that big a deal to them.

I do make a point of peeing right before (oral) sex and stop once or twice during a session (smile and say 'I'll be right back')... With the "ever-hard" blessing of the implant, I make use of most of an hour session.

Six weeks or so after my RP, I went to see my favorite girl just to kiss and hold and eat (I really thought my dick was dead). She eventually talked me out of my jockeys (and pad - I was somewhat embarrassed), put a condom on me and started licking and sucking me. After a bit, the condom filled up about half way with with pee. She smiled, changed condoms and continued. I eventually had a whimpering, toe-curling orgasm and I cried! I had thought my sex life was over until that moment.

I went to my uro today. He told me to go back to doing Kegels (I quit doing them in April my incontinence was not improving). I get a 90% erection with .15 units of Bimix. He told me to boost it to .17 units. I came home and tried it and achieved a 95% erection. The glans doesn't engorge anymore than before so I still use a constriction band. He told me to not leave he band on (over cock and balls) for more than 30 minutes or my "testicles would fall off."LOL

Long story short, I am still leaking and he said its too premature to be thinking of getting a "sling" installed. He wants me to wait a full 2 years from my R.P. (June 2016). I seem to be rambling here.

Just a thought here...a "friend of a friend" was several years post RP and still wearing pads because.....he liked beer more than he liked "continence". Myself, a "toker", not a drinker, was out of the diapers in a week and out of the pads in just a few months.....might make a diff...good luck...!
