What a day, well, I'll start with yesterday.
We drove 5 hours to Shreveport, LA for a 3:00pm pre-op appointment. Got to hosp. at 6:30am, today. They took me to surgery about 8:30am and Dr. Gerard Henry, MD did his thing. I'm now the proud owner of a shiny new AMS 700 LGX with all the “bells and whistles” (all that toot and tinkle noise is kind'a cool, not to mention the chrome wheels with the low profile tires, oh yea, I almost forgot about the moon roof and cruise control ((think about the cruise control part, for a little bit ). About 1:00pm they wheeled me to the car, ALL DONE! While he was in there, Dr. Henry also removed my right epidemis. My right testicle has been very tender for about 35 years, so after healing, I should be able to wear jeans again. Tomorrow morning Dr. will remove bandage and catheter, then back to Oklahoma.
Pain pill kicking in, so will write more tomorrow.
Ron

I love the "Moon Roof" and I am sure you can not wait for the "Cruise Control"
to get activated. Good for you! Very funny approach.
Congrats and happy driving or should I say "Safe Driving"
Best wishes for a full and complete recovery!

Remember, Dave, a whistle only makes noise when someone blows it. Just sayin'.

I hope you don't lose 1/3 like I did.......................
Re: What A Day
Congratulations Ron. Sounds as though you were treated well. Today is day 4 after your operation and these were the two days (days 4 and 5) when I had the most difficulty. It was nice when I got to the end of the first week and all of the "really uncomfortable" feelings were pretty much starting to dissipate. I can honestly say that I didn't think of much else besides my penis for an entire month after surgery. Since all this equipment is new and foreign, it takes some getting used to. I'm at 10 months now and everything has fallen into place very nicely and works as it should. Still can't make that big smile go away!
Hang in there, and don't forget the cold towels to wrap all around your junk to relieve as much pain as possible. Best of luck!
