Trimix dosage round 3, another Priapism episode.

I would have included this as follow up in one thread but i cant find my original post, so here goes.

Last night i injected Trimix at 4 units, and had another round with priapism with an erection that lasted 8hr and 50minutes. So far this has been my results:

Inject #1 (3 Units), no effect.
Injection #2 (7 Units) 8 hour erection, trip to emergency room.
Injection #3 (4 units), 8 hour and 50 minute erection.

Injections were spread out about a week apart. I don't believe how just a bump in One unit can have such a dramatic effect, I called my Dr. and set appt. to discuss these results and wants me to stop injections until our next appt. Right now I don't think Trimix is going to work for me unless i have some way of controlling the duration of the erections. at least give or take an 30 minutes. Has anyone else encountered this type of problem. Thanks everyone.

Just a theory but.....
Maybe with Injection 1 you missed the sweet spot. (10 o'clock and 2 o'clock alternate sites and a 1/2" long needle pressed all the way in and squeeze slowly the plunger full). I had a zero effect with a dose which turned out to be the perfect quantity for me. Injection 2 you should NEVER double the dose, 50% increase is the maximum you should step up. Additionally, many people are experiencing greater sensitivity to trimix after the first inject or two. I would start lower than the 3 units since clearly 4 is more than enough. You could drop to 1.0, then 1.5, then 2.0, if you get to about a 85 - 95% erection that lasts not much more than 2 hours I would up the dose very carefully. Some find it hard to achieve 100% and not go into the priapism red zone - dose for some men has greater effect on duration than rigidity. Stay with the trimix is my honest opinion, when you get it right it is the wonder drug, even with a little ache in the boner!

Thanks for the response Muz, I agree with you about increases in small dosages. In my case my original starting dosage recommened by the Dr. was 20 units but because i was a little scared I started only at 3 units instead of 20. When I got no response I saw no problem with going to 7 units since it was still less than half than what the Dr. was recommending. Obviously I was wrong.

In my experience, the longer (and more often) you use trimix, the less you need. Don't give up on this. Maybe just go up/down in your increments more slowly.
