Supplements for ED

If "supplements" worked for ED, believe me we'd all know about them and docs would direct us to them. Legitimate medicine and good doctors are your friend.

Very true. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to find what I would consider a good doctor that is willing to really help get to the bottom of my ED issue. A lot of the men's clinics are just a scam and all the high and mighty urologists don't seem to give a shit since they are more interested in performing some kind of surgery on me so they can go buy a new boat and my GP just sticks his finger up my ass to make sure my prostate is not enlarged and then proceeds to tell me I'm fine and it's all in my head.

So far I have spent a couple thousand bucks on seeing different doctors and getting tests done. After this weekend at the men's clinic where some quack injected me with the Trimix I am fairly convinced that it's all stemming from my Low T. This has been quite a journey and I can now really see how so many men can fall victim to all the scams and a-holes out there that just take advantage of men with ED.

In California our University system has research/teaching hospitals. UCSF (San Francisco) has leading doctors in Urology some of whom have written papers on aspects of urology including E. D. Perhaps your state (?) has such a system whereby you can access a top quality Urologist. The universities, I would expect, would have the top E.D. authorities in your state.

Just a thought if you are getting the round around from your local doctors.

Thanks for the reply Reggieman. I am in So Cal and we have some of the top urologists in the country here. I went to one of them. I did not get the impression he really cared about my problem. He just noticed that I had low T and prescribed an estrodial blocker. Never even said anything about TRT to me. I have also searched the web for any good articles on the link between Low T and ED. Most articles admit there is usually a link.

I am planning on getting on a higher dose of testosterone and going to shots instead of this Androgel low dose crap. I will monitor my blood work and see what happens from there. I am now fairly certain my ED is linked to my Low T and there is also a mental component. With some luck I will get back to my old natural self.

All 'natural' supplements are fallacies. I used almost everyone of them from eBay, Amazon, India etc. They start you up somehow for a week or two then ...

I don't think I am ready for that brother. I am pretty sure if I can get my T level up to the 800 - 900 range then I should be back in action. I'm working on it. On occasion in the mornings I am able to get a good enough erection that I can use it with my girl so I know there is an issue with the T level and there is also a mental component from my self confidence being blown to pieces over the last several years and becoming dependent on the damn drugs.

I will use the Trimix until I get my T level up but I will have to dial that shit way back. Having a steel rod for more than 4 hours even after using the antidote is not fun but the thought of going to the ER and having them stick a giant needle in my mini me to remove the blood is out of the question. Just going to have to go with a much lower dosage.

Disagree on these. Don't think upping T will make a difference.
As far as to going to ER>>>I've had erections as long as 6hrs and never went to ER and never will. NOT PRIAPISM! They're not ROCK HARD for the entire duration (bendable at times) nor are they EXTREMELY PAINFULL and DISCOLORED. You're not going to have to go to ER. STOP SCARING YOURSELF ..OK? Stop wasting your time with Test and Pills and>>>TRY IT! I did after spending YEARS on pills that stopped working and will never look back. Just figure out the dose that will give you max hard and minimum duration.

lannigan... me thinks it's time for you to end your suffering and get the implant. No side effects, no working intermittently... just a stiff dick when you need it and not stiff when you don't. Take the plunge.

Maybe one day an implant is in my future but I don't think I am ready for that step yet. Although being on this site has given me a whole new perspective on that prospect.

personally i dont think T levels have anything to do with erections. mostly only helps with muscle build and a slew of other benefits.
t levels probably do help with libido, albeit and small amount.

Likewise - a course of Androgel raised my T level significantly but it made no difference of any kind.

I do appreciate the feedback. I guess it's wishful thinking on my part. I will start the shots soon and will see what happens. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

You'll be fine. I was in the same boat...no comparison between oral meds and Trimix...not even close!
