The day has finally arrived. I will be going under the knife today @ 3:30 PM EST and by early evening I will be sporting a brand new 2011 model CX. The journey has been long and deliberate with lots of research, contemplation, and consultations. I want to thank all of you guys out there that contributed to my getting to this point. Without the generous advice, support and information I've gotten from many of you guys I would still be wondering what to do next. My surgery will be done by Dr. Karpman and he will be using the infra-pubic technique, I hope to be back in action within a few short weeks after a very long layoff...

Re: Today's the Day
Am I right that you are going from FL to CA for the surgery? If so, I will be interested to hear about how you handle the distance and the flights!

Dr.Karpman is a pro. Ask him for the strong percocets if you haven't already. I was on those and felt no pain whatsoever. I started pumping the next day after surgery with the Dr's praise. See you on the bionic side!
All the best brother.

Yes indeed I did fly out to Ca from Florida for the surgery. I decided early on that I wanted to find the right doc regardless of location. I'll let you guys know how things progress. Thanks for the words illuminist, you are one of the guys that really helped with your imput along the way. Props go out to dr. bill as well.

Will be waiting to hear how it goes. As I told you he left me fully inflated for a week. Interested to see if he does you likewise. Also, Cherie and I will be in the bay area Friday, leaving out of SFO Saturday. If you are up for it, maybe we could meet for a drink and congratulations, Bill.

Best wishes...you'll love the result. I'm only 8 days out and am already happy with what I see so far. The first few days will make you wonder though. But take the pain pills they prescribe. I took them for 5 days and was able to give them up.
Look forward to hearing from you afterward.

Wow, So it is done and I hope all is well with you! I bet you are happy it is over and the best for you with the recovery. We hope you have a great flite home and a speedy recovery.
It was agonizing waiting for the day and I am still in that "agonizing boat" with mine coming up in early Dec. Plan to be in Florida come Dec 17th to recover. Heard salt water does the trick? Anyway, keep good notes and if you have any recommendations, I want to hear them before my surgery.

Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
