Glad you're home, Craig. As with any surgery, don't be "brave". Take the pain meds and remember, ice is your friend. Fast healing, my friend. Look forward to hearing from you again in a few days.

Major set back, my pump went into the inganual ring and will not go back into the scrotun. I have made a call to the doctor and he said he will try to get it back in position but, if not back into the operating room.

I was lucky in the bruising/swelling aspect; as far as I know I am the only person ever who has had abosolutely no bruising or swelling. Minimal discomfort when starting to sit down/stand up/get into or out of car, etc., but no real pain.................

Went to see the doctor and found that I have a hernia of the ingranal ring and that is how the pump found it`s way out of the ingranal ring so, I have to go in for a revision to have the pump put back in place, this time after repairing the hernia he will put a permanent stitch to hold the pump in place scured to the inside the scrotum. That way this could not happen again to me in the future.

Craig - That's good news!! I've always said the worst part of any medical issue is waiting to find out what it is. Now that you know and the fix seems rather simple, I'm sure you're relieved, I know I would be.

I do troubleshooting of systems for a living. When something goes wrong and I can explain why, it doesn't bother me, I know I can fix the root cause. When something goes wrong and I can't explain it, that drives me nuts, because I know its only a matter of time before it happens again.

For me, finding out what your problem is would be a great Christmas present! Merry Christmas.

It's been over two years, but for months my pain level was 6-7. Three months later 4-5. One year later 2-3. Two years later 0-1. The biggest "pain" part of this after healing is deflating the thing. I'm right handed so I take my left hand and wrap it, hit the button, and squeeze. I do that because the tubing that is located to the left side of the penis. I try to avoid contact with what's there. Left hand is better because the right hand would place the palm and fingers in direct contact with the "plumbing". I'm not surprised by my pain level, I think that's just me. When I had a vasectomy 37 years ago "the boys" became "softball" swollen, so no big surprise that the pain and the swelling were worse on this one.

Pumping this up depends on who made what you have. One gentleman said 18-20 times. Takes me about 12 pumps. But, I've heard some guys say it takes 3, 4, 5, etc.

On a scale from one to ten, ten being the worse, were would you have rate your pain at on the first, second, and third day?

0-1 No pain
2-3 Mild pain
4-5 Discomforting - moderate pain
6-7 Distressing - severe pain
8-9 Intense - very severe pain
10 Unbearable pain

Were you left partially inflated after surgery?

I am two days out after sugery and I FEEL GREAT. The doctor put in a new pump in and placed it deeper into the botom of the scrotum and put a temporary stich there. I have very little bruising and no pain at all.

Craig

Now I think I am done, and life is good....agian!
