Happy Thanksgiving to all..
Im a new member and I will be having surgery with Dr. Eid in February of 2012. A question for the forum. Im 47 and in good health with no urinary issues except my ED. Here's the question: Did your surgeon have you do a Bladder Dynamics test done before surgery? Dr. Eid requires it for all his patients. I appreciate any information.
Bladder Dynamics test
Re: Bladder Dynamics test
Welcome Frank,
My surgeon did have me undergo a Urodynamic Study (which measures pressure in the bladder, voiding efficiency, etc.)
prior to my Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure in December 2007.
I had my Procedure done at Hackensack University Medical Center by Dr. Hossein Sadeghi.
My wife and I are both very happy with the Titan Implant.
Hope this is helpful.
Best of luck with your Implant Procedure.
Bob

Re: Bladder Dynamics test
Hi Frank,
I just did the bladder test with Dr. Eid and hopefully I will be getting the implant Dec 6. As Bob mentioned, the test is to ensure that all is well with the bladder and the "water works".
There is no pain during the procedure and he wants to make certain all is well before he performs the surgery.
Since I am on coumadin, I have other issues to deal with and I hope that will be resolved soon. He has called me and has been very reassuring that all will go well.

Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
