Maintenance pumping

Greetings All,

How often and for what length of time does everyone inflate their penile prosthesis? I don't currently inflate mine on any type of ongoing "maintenance" basis. Unfortunately I've noticed a gradual decrease in girth over time and thought doing so might restore what was lost and perhaps add something more.

Has anyone tried using a vacuum pump with their implant when "flaccid" or "erect" to help with blood flow and girth? I've done some testing in the past but get concerned about damaging tubing.

I try and go Full erect every other day or so. I have noticed that if I do not fully inflate between uses for sex, I get minor stretching pain. I would Fully inflate a couple times a week to avoid things like this.

tomorrow the 28th will be starting my 6th week after surgery...about 10 days after surgery I would give it two pumps then let it down all the way and put 2 back in and let it stay that way...about the third week I was going for broke I would pump it as much as I could stand and keep it that way for 30 minutes oh did it feel good to let it down..the 4th week I was pumping it up as much as it would go with pain...twice a day..but each day the pain was less..now startinginto the 6th week I can make it as hard as it will get with little or no pain...it is shorter than when I could get a real hard on but but wife has no complaints...I can wear her out...this will come in time and work and patience...good luck

I fully inflate at least twice a day. My girth seems to be getting more full and I don't have the pains.

I squeeze mine 4-50 squeezes 1-2 times per day. Doesn't burn as much as it did the first few weeks.............

That should have said 40-50 squeezes one or two times per day (not 4-50 squeezes)

Wow 40 to 50 squeezes. I squeeze mine 6 or 7 and I am fully erect. I have squeezed 10 to 12 times but the erection is uncomfortable.

I inflate mine fully daily and frequently and will leave it fully inflated all day if I can. Will frequently inflate and leave myself erect overnite. Leaves me with a great feeling and never have had any tyoe of pain associated with the implant inflation.
As to vacum pumping, I just recently tried it both with my implant inflated and not inflated. The results were great, I got a lot of girth back, I don't know if permanent or temporary until after a while of inflating with the vacum pump. No negative side affects realized. Pumping while inflated is very good no negative results with the implants, just don't go crazy, if you have pumped in the past you'll know your limitations. Good luck.
