Tubing
Re: Tubing
that is how mine was. However the tubing is quite flexible and did not interfere with anything but it was visable. That was how it was, now the tubing is in the same place but has laid down and is not very noticable. About the whole tubing and pump issue, I was not told to pull the pump down and it started off right where i thought it should be and is still there. I was pretty tubing conscious because I had another pump installed at the same time with it's own tubing for my artificial urinary sphincter and all I could feel at first was what seemed like a bowl of spagetti, now all that has subsided and the tubing has found its place. But I must say at first it definately weird to feel all the tubes and pumps. My IPP and AUS were done jan 2011 or about 10 months ago and the whole lot is quite comfortable now and both work very well.

Re: Tubing
Interesting...that's a perfect way to describe it...spaghetti....as far as the pump, I was told to pull on it several times a day! How different the instructions.

Re: Tubing
I would definately pull the pump down if you think it's too high, I mine wasn't. Maybe my doctor had a trick up his sleeve so that he wasn"t worried about the pump migrating upward, hence no instructions to pull down?

Re: Tubing
I'm nearly one year post-op with a Titan. I had the same experience. The tubing made the surrounding area tender as well. Now it's pain free and much less obvious to the touch.
Re: Tubing
I saw the doctor and he said the tubing would be less obvious with healing but it sure is noticeable now. I try pushing it in between the testicle gently but it's not working. We'll see. I see him again in 3 months. Also, I was told to pull down on the pump constantly and it sits low now. The only other problems I have are a bend to the left and something of a loss of sensitivity. Definitely getting used to it and there isn't any pain when inflated.
