Titan OTR - Scary new occurance

Okay, here's the thing. Moments ago, I was doing my daily routine of pulling down on the pump and then pumping to maximum for scar cavity stretching. My penis pumped up as normal, and when I gave it the final pump, the bulb went all the way flat and didn't recover. It's just sitting there flat right now.

This never happened with the old pump with a years full of usage. It's like it ran out of fluid and couldn't refill, or it leaked out somewhere. Up until tonight, I could always pump up very tight and didn't stand a chance of flattening the bulb, it always stayed filled and full of tension.

Has anyone else had this happen. I'm concerned that it's now leaking since the revision. Talk to me please...

You will let us know what the Dr says when you call him, right? And you will call today or tomorrow I guess. Did it drain well after staying flat? And has it done the same thing when you have retried inflating it again? Try it. May just be a fluke due to some kinking.

Genome, this may help: I have the AMS700LGX. Once when inflating, the pump went flat and did not return to receive the next amount of fluid. Holding the pump, I pressed the release valve, and the bulb returned to normal. Hope that you are OK. Let us know.

Try the release button. I had the same thing happen with my LGX. I've also had times when it didn't want to pump, I had to hit the release and then it was fine. It seem like it gets "stuck" in between positions.

Okay, so I released the pressure and it filled the bulb back up. I inflated and it did the same thing again. I waited about an hour (after releasing all pressure), tried it again and it was back to normal.

I used it again today (for sex ) and it was normal again...

I'm going to keep an eye on it and see if it was the full moon (a fluke) last night before I run to the doctor. I expect my Dad is going to pass away this week and I'm going out of town on Monday, so I don't have time to see the doctor right now.

Just don't push the release valve and the bulb at the same time! Potential for destroying the device (for the AMS LGD that is, according to their literature).

I thought it may be a fluke (the bulb) as suggested by one of the other members, but as it turns out it's not a fluke, or a kinked line. I can reproduce this behaviour over and over again. It's just that after it's mostly inflated, or after a hot shower where my tissues are easily expanded, I give it a final few tissue stretching pumps, the bulb will go flat and won't draw any more from the reservoir.

My theory is this... I think that with the additional tubing added during the revision, and possible fluid loss during the surgery, there's is now just barely enough saline to pump up the erection. No extra fluid seems to be present to really put pressure on the cylinders or my tissues. I'm a bit disappointed by this but I can live with it. I was worried the device was failing, but I'm pretty sure it's just low on fluid. I doubt it could be tuned up with out another revision, but it's not worth it to me.

No, that's not the issue, but thanks for the warning. I was never told that before. Hey, I'll live with it unless something else starts acting stupid. If I have to have another revision, I plan on a full do over this time, and a planning session with the doctor(s) so that I everyone understands what is going on and everyone has a good action plan that WE ALL agree to.

The surgeon who did the revision knew what the issues were, and was critical of the original implant procedure. Yet, it seems he also dropped the ball in one respect as far as I can tell. He could have done and was prepared to do a full replacement, but decided to make some adjustments that he felt had a good chance of resolving my issues. He did a good job with relocating the pump and additional length to the tubing but SEEMS to have missed the target with regards to refilling the reservoir. I wish (I think) he had done a full replacement with a proper install, but he did say if this doesn't fix the problems, he was on-board with a do over and putting the thing in the way it should have been done to start with.

I feel like what he did was a patch job, but a very good effort. I just wish I didn't have the flat bulb issue, but I'll probably be okay with it. Only time will tell.
