AMS LGX

Postby SURFTRAVELER » Mon Dec 19, 2011 6:02 pm

I'm scheduled for implant surgery in March 2012 at Vandy. Dr. Milan said I would be getting an AMS LGX. I'm 61 and retired from the Marines. In addition to getting older I have to take a lot medications that cause ED. Like everyone I guess I'm concerned about the lose of girth and length. When fully erect my penis is 6.75 inches long and 6.25 inches around. I need to hear from guys who have had the AMS LGX and their experiences.

Thanks for all the information all of you share on this website. It has helped me greatly in finding one of the best doctors in this field. VA said they would do it based on my injuries and medical history. But after having them work on my leg I wouldn't feel comfortable letting then that close to my dick with a knife. LOL.

Don't worry, it will be whatever it is and whatever it is will be better than zero. In my case with my lgx I think I lost about 1/2" in lenght but that is compairing to what I was a good number of years ago. Lenght isn't everything. Keep focusing on how nice a trully rock hard errection will be.

First of all, thanks to you and all the military guys (and gals) that protect our country for us. You have my deepest gratitude and respect.

I am 60 and diabetic, with enough meds to choke a horse! Yea, I got ED, what did they expect! lol

I was implanted 9 months ago with an LGX. My whole story is in here, it is called LGX log. You can search it from google, believe it or not!

Most guys gain in girth. I am 1/4" less than before surgery, which is insignificant. Length is right back to where I was before surgery, though not at my max from a few years ago (use it or lose it!) You will be very happy, the measuring tape may say a little smaller, but your partner will tell you it's bigger than ever. My wife does! It doesn't compress when inserted, so what you see with the tape is what she feels inside her. Satisfaction rate of partners of guys with implants is over 90%.

Surftraveller,

Dr. Milam did mine in late August at the Cool Springs Clinic. Todd, his assistant, measured it before (using the stretch test) at 7 1/4" long. And I measured it at 6" around (at home). He said I would be the same size as before. Right now, I am just a little over 5" long and 4 1/2" around. So, I have lost about 1/3 of what I had before the surgery. Hopefully, some of it will return over time. I expected to lose maybe 1/4 to 1/2 " in length, and to gain a little in width (based on what I have read on these sites here). But what really disappointed me is the loss of sensitivity in the glans, and the "floppy head" (my tips don't go to the glans, much less into it).

As far as I know, he is one of the best in the business, and I really liked him and his staff. I'm not quite sure exactly what has caused my less-than-hoped-for outcome, but I hope you have a better result than I did. Good luck!
