Stitches

Well, I'm finally feeling better since my revision surgery on December 22. I plan to go back to work tomorrow, January 17. However, I do have a couple of questions.

How long does it take for these stitches to dissolve? This time around I have TWO sets: one on my scrotum, and one just below the head of my penis. When I had my original surgery last June the stitches weren't a big deal because I was off for the entire summer.

Currently, I'm about half inflated. I plan to deflate before returning to work. (Can't show up with a visible bulge in my crotch area. I work with children.) If I inflate fully will I run the risk of tearing at the stitches on my penis?

I hope that your revision goes well. Be patient with the stitches; mine went away in about 6 weeks and I was very careful not to pull on them. I wouldn't inflate if I were you. Very tight underwear, pehaps Jockey a size smaller than you wear would help hide the bulge. But remove them for looser wear when off duty.
