Welcome to FT Jim. Sorry to hear of your situation. You are at the right place for support. We know how it feels to be at that point. I ended up with an implant and am very happy. It’s not as great as sex as a teenager, but better than everything else I tried.

Best Wishes,
Greg

Hi, and welcome to the site.

Keep up the pumping for now. I see no harm in calling the doctor and asking him to go ahead and start you on the injections. Let him/her know your frustration and that you are anxious to try them. They work great for many guys. Hopefully you'll be one of those guys. They work well for me and have for years now. Do you know if any of your nerves were able to be spared?

Good luck.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

Thx for the replies, yes nerves were spared according to the doctor, my wife wants me to listen to the doctor and wait until March to see him. :(

New Old Guy-I wouldn't wait. If you are an old guy the chances of the erections coming back are slim at best. Keep those penile smooth muscles in shape by getting erect either by pump, injections or implant. The muscles need oxygen.
Retired. R.P. 2016. Bilateral nerve sparing surgery. Now use .15cc of Bimix twice weekly & anorgasmia, moderately incontinent. Wife no longer interested so go solo with Electro-stim using Erostek ET-312. Now am Type 2 diabetic.
