Dr. Milan
What kind of experiences have some of you had with Dr. Milan. I'm scheduled for an upcoming procedure and still kind of concerned. During the exam at his office Todd Doran said I measured 6.5 stretched. This is .5 inches less than I measure at home stretched or erect with ruler pushed up against the pubic bone and measuring along top. How do they determine the size measurement in surgery? Also concerned about the girth issue erect now I'm 6.25 inches at base and 6 inches along the shaft. Will the AMS LGX give me back about the same girth? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I'm interested in this too. I want to know both the good AND the bad experiences people have had with his implants.
Re: Dr. Milan
Mine was somewhat bad, I'm afraid. They are both very professional, likable guys, however, and as far as I know they did their best. Absolutely zero swelling or bruising. Very polite, professional staff, too.
I sent them $20,000 and got on a plane here in Seoul and flew to Tennessee last August. Todd stretch-tested me at 7 1/4" long (although at home I'd earlier measured myself at 7"). He didn't measure circumference , but earlier at home I'd measured myself at 6 1/2" at the base, almost 6" mid-shaft, and a little less at the glans. By the way, I had no current (or previous) health issues; not overweight either.
They fitted me with an LGX 21.5 cm device (21 cm plus .5 cm rear tip extenders), although Todd had told me earlier that they would probably use a Coloplast Titan (due to my slightly larger than average size). I am not sure why they changed to the LGX, or if it makes any difference, for that matter. I had minimal discomfort while recuperating at my brother's home in Memphis, and I flew back to Seoyl about 12 daus later.
I inflated after 5-6 weeks and had the usual burning sensation where the front tips were. That went away after a few weeks, however. The first day I measured 5" long 4 1/2"in circumference. If the glans becomes engorged, as it does on occasion, I am closer to 5 1/2" long and about 4 3/4" in circumference.
The shaft does become hard, although thinner (somewhat flat), and the glans is cold, less sensitive, is soft/floppy (sometimes a little more firm/larger IF I get the previously mentioned glans engorgement) and points to the right at about a 45 degree angle. I suppose this angle is caused by the implant tips not being equal lengths. One tip goes almost to the glans, but the other one stops almost 1/2" before the glans. Neither tip extends into the cap/glans, but nonetheless Dr. Milam wrote in the post-operative report that one tip is 30% into the glans and the other is 60% into the glans. This is definitely not true, however, unless I am confused as to where the glans actually begins. My understanding is that the glans is the "cap" (think mushroom), with the large, flared end being the beginning of the glans. My tips don't go that far. I am uncertain as to why he wrote that the tips extend well into the glans....
I wrote to AMS, and the customer service lady there told me that I should be well satisfied because I had been implanted with one of the longer (maybe the longest) implant device (the basic 21 cm device).
I keep pumping everyday, hoping that it will grow some, but I suspect that it isn't going to change much. I don't know if this info helps you or not, but I wish you luck. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who gets a larger penis, with no floppy head and no loss of sensitivity. Hope for the best, but keep in the back of your mind that your actual result could be somewhat less than you'd expected. That way, you won't be so shocked/disappointed if you are not one of the lucky ones.....

@dmikesaw
I have to say that I considered Dr. Milan but your's and Gnome's experience scared me away from him. Prior to the information provided by you guys, I was considering him for my revision/do-over. The VA (if I had insisted) can issue an approval for 3rd party (outside provider) care and they are billed. I changed my mind however as stated due to the additional information gathered here. Thanks for that, much appreciatred. I've go to go through it all over again in March.

Re: Dr. Milan
I have to say that my experience is exactly the same as dmikesaw. One of my tips is about 1/2 inch behind the other in the glans and I too lost 2 inches in length and a lot of girth, However, the difference for me is I started at 5 1/2 inches and am now only 3 1/2 inches! I am so upset over having lost so much with so little to give. It has only been 4 months since my surgery and I hope and pray it will stretch as he says, but I am so afraid it won't or not as much as I would hope for. Maybe this is because I have not gained any at all in the 4 months of stretching since my surgery. Please pray for me!

Re: Dr. Milan
I wish other guys would please post their results, from Dr. Milam, to let us know if we will really eventually stretch back out like Dr. Milam says we will. I am really scared right now and you could really ease my mind if you told me over a year you stretched out an extra inch or hopefully even two! Thanks for replying!
