Only able to pump a max of 5 times.

Keep on pumping guys. I don't remember exactly, but when I first started pumping, 8 pumps gave me a good hard on. I could only get about 12 pumps. I always pumped until it burned, waited a few, pumped some more, etc for about 3 cycles. When it really started hurting, I'd try to pump a couple more in before deflating. I'm not in Keith's league yet, but I'm doing about 20 pumps now for intercourse. I can get about 25 in. The burning is the expansion, tissue stretching. I was told that the first night after surgery, as it was pumped fairly firm and was smarting pretty good.

One thing I failed to mention was that when I pump (still at a max of 5), I wait for a second between pumps to allow the bulb to refill and squeeze it completely flat, not partially. The instructions I was given weren't totally clear, so I took it upon myself to do it that way. Bottom line...if you have a big c ock, you're gonna need more pumps...small, you'll need less.

I was only commenting about how many pumps for an erection. The other guys were saying they could only pump 5 or so times. I've had the LGX for 3 mos. at first I was realy dissapointed with length and girth. But the nut sack was so swollen it actually made it look and feel about 2 inchs shorter. I'm still not happy with length or girth.
The worse problem seems to be lack of blood flow to the gland and bottom portion of the penis. The location of the pump and the tubes sewn togather (appearently) seem to cut off blood flow to the glans by wraping around the tubes and tightening up when I pump up. I wake up every morning with a full ,almost erect penis (fully deflated) because of natural morning wood. But as soon as I pump it up and start to use it. Penitration seems to push all the blood out and all you have left is two skin covered hard tubes an all the girth is gone.
I have more girth before I pump than after. The first time I measured after the swelling went down, I measured about 6.75". I used to have 6" in girth. Now when pumped up I only have a little over 5 inches girth because there is no blood flow to the gland and under side. I'm told this should heal it's self in about six mos. My Dr. prescribed 2.5 mg. cialis daily to improve blood flow and encourage vein growth. I guess time will tell.

I was 5 1/2 inches before my surgery in October 2011 and now I am only 3 1/2 inches. I'm pissed off over this!!! I pump my LGX 700 around 10 - 12 times for a full erection of only 3 1/2 inches. How long does 4 or 5 pumps get you? Also, how long did it take you to regain your lost inches? Has anyone ever stretched out as long or longer that before your surgery and how long did it take you to get to your longest length? It has been over 3 months since my surgery and I haven't stretched at all and I stay pumped up an hour a day

Initially could only pump a few times because it was incredibly difficult to depress the bulb. As time went by could get more numbers of pumps, BUT, was only depressing bulb partially. Now, the bulb is relaxing and I can depress it fully. 10 pumps gets hard enough for most sex, need 15 for more vigorous sex with her on top. 20 pumps is uncomfortably hard for her.
Was just under 6 inches before surgery, no change in length after.Was 5.75 girth before, a little over 5 after surgery. Hope that helps.

For those of you who pump more than 20 times...are you squeezing that bulb until it's completely flat or just squeezing it a little bit each time. Seems like there shouldn't be such a different in number of times, except for length, obviously. Short guys, few pumps, big guys, more pumps, bigger guys, even more pumps.

I'm LGX, and just celebrated by 2nd anniversary just before Christmas.

I think some of the variation is seen in the rapidity with which we squeeze the pump. I can be 'in a hurry' and squeeze rather rapidly, and then take many more squeezes to get an erection, or, I can do as my uro instructed, and do a five-count between each squeeze and then take 6--8 squeezes to become erect. We may not be comparing apples to apples in our little study.

doleslie, I am 90 days out and I am perfectly happy with 5 full pumps-that is really all it takes but I have gotten up to 10. I do know that that is fully inflated because you can not squeeze the bulb anymore but I cant tell much difference in the erection of 5 full pumps and 10. I have not been leaving it pumped up for long periods just because it does not fit into my schedule. Maybe I will try leaving it pumped when I go to bed. I have the AMS CX so I know there is not length expansion but I am very satisfied with the surgeons work and at 5 pumps I am like a stuffed sausage. More pumps seem to allow the tips to extend further into the head of the penis which is a very good thing. So yes the number of pumps has to be related to cylinder length and circumference of the implant. I am happy with my 5 to 10 pumps and the results I get. It has changed my entire life-especially my self esteem. It is great to feel like a man again. jim

I received a Titan OTR about a year ago, and for the first 8 or 9 months I only got about 4 or 5 pumps and had a little difficulty deflating. I kept trying to squeeze harder and to get more. One night I doubled the number and my penis hurt like hell for a while. Next time I tripled my count easily with no pain. Deflation was suddenly much easier also. I think that I had some scar tissue that had not been broken up. My advice is to keep trying to get more and to keep going if it becomes painful, and to pump often. I can now get up to 28 pumps over a little time.
