Thanks for posting this. I have been using the same technique which is also described in the Viberect manual. I find that using both hands is better for me. It was a revelation when I first tried it as I was able to achieve a partial erection on demand! I now have a Viberect as well which feels good but doesn't increase my erection much. However I am convinced that it is increasing my sensitivity. I can now achieve an erection good enough for intercourse on the day I take my cialis after using the stretching technique followed by my vacurect pump (without a ring) and finishing off with the Viberect to get my nerves tingling. I am then ready for intercourse and I also find that the increased sensitivity has helped me orgasm much easier and quicker. This has enabled me to relax a bit more as well knowing that I will be able to achieve orgasm before my wife gets fed up waiting. Altogether this routine has enabled me to enjoy missionary position intercourse again for the first time in 13 months after my prostatectomy.

I am also using the viberect as part of my daily therapy to get the nerves stimulated which I hope will eventually aid further recovery of normal function.
Had a robotic prostatectomy on 16 Dec 2010, with partial bi-lateral nerve sparing.

Paul,

After 15 days of both reflex exercizes and viberect useage I've had no success to speak of. I have got two good erections from the relex excersizes alone but most of the time there has been no hard on. The device has not produced anything. Very disappointing because I thought viberect would have efficacy with those with spinal cord injuries like me. I'll continue doing both with the hope that there may be some positive cumulative effects.

Unfortunately, for men with lower spinal cord injury, lumbar or sacral, ED can be severe, as erection nerves are right there. This is why radiation in the pelvis can injure erections. Theoretically, devices like this (ferticare, viberect) that stimulate pelvic nerves are not magic wand, but safe methods to potentially rehabilitate pelvic nerves in this population. Drugs, injections and pumps do nothing to nerves. In men with nerve problems, the process is gradual and may takes months, but potentially corrective like physical therapy. Erection and stiffness is extremely complex.

Yankfan,
I would not give up. It is a process...but it's also one of those paradoxes - you might stop working so hard at it. So much of the therapy is about reconnecting, reawakening nerves. The sexual stimulation from the brain is key to progress and just as any man will know, monitoring your penis for hardness is a sure way to kill an erection. The Viberect is not a quick fix, but is a therapy tool. Keep at it for a few more weeks. At the very least - enjoy one heck of a male vibrator! Do the exercises, watch some porn, get lost in it, and see if things improve. Let me know.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll continue with the viberect routine with the hope that time will have some positive impact. I'm glad the the pulling exercizes alone does seem to produce a woodie now and then. My best technique is to pull rapidly and for a long period of time without pausing 2-3 seconds after every relex action, that seems to work for me better than the written procedure.

I just received a 30 day supply of daily 2.5mg Cialis and it seems to be working fairly well, especially when I pop 50 mg of viagra when ready to rock and roll. I placed my first order for generic 5mg tadalafal with All Day Chemist which I'll use daily. It might even be more efective than the 2.5mg, hope so.

Good Luck Everone

I had an implant 4 years ago for ED due to a stroke, followed by diabetes, several years earlier. Immediately after the implant I experienced other health problems, including aortic stenosis among other things, that caused me to feel awful most of the time due mainly to a ton of medication. I lost all interest in sex and so in 4 years we only used the implant twice. Recently I undertook a strict lifestyle (diet/exercise) regimen and have been able to eliminate almost all of my prescription meds, as a result of which I feel much better. We have begun to re-explore our sex life: everything works, and the implant is great, but it takes me a very long time - much longer than my wife can tolerate - to climax. My urologist is prescribing a Viberect for me that we can use as part of our routine to give me a "head start," so we can hopefully have a better experience. He thinks Viberect could be helpful in our situation. I'll report back after I receive it to let you know how it goes!

Good Luck Dave,

It's encouraging to note that your uro recommended the viberect. That should give it some credibility
Congrats on your decision and success to change your drug dependency and wean yourself off the meds which were causing you difficulty.

New Viberect Upgrade

Postby penned » Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:45 pm

The new upgraded Viberect is very strong. I spoke to Ms. Kristi at customer service. They are now approved in 59 countries as a medical device. I heard my VA is going to carry it for vets. and Medicare is considering covering it. The company is run by urologists and quite a few centers are using it for ED, rehab, and spinal cord injury. They went back and modified the torque and amplitude of the Viberect based on a lot of new research on the device. I got mine upgraded for free. The even covered shipping. The stimulation is the most intense I have ever felt, and erections come sooner than the previous model. My wife is very jealous, because the power of Viberect puts her litte kitty and mouse toys to shame. The device now actually moves on the penis, not just buzz. Higher settings will create intense orgasm and powerful ejaculation. I feel the tightening of muscles a lot better and erections last longer. The upgrade must be more successful, since they now give 30 day free trial with 100% satisfaction guarantee. You still can't get it without a prescription. My original device was innovative, but needed to have more kick and less noise. I am glad they solved the problem, because I for one hate the VED. For those here who tried the older model, you should call them to change the settings. Takes about a week to get it back. I'll keep you posted. Jim
