I tried 6 injections about a year ago. Resulted in a major increase in libido; however, the most it did as far as erection quality was concerned was to generate a major chubby. I injected it about 5 o'clock in the morning. About one hour later I felt a weird sensation or feeling of apprehensation overcome my body. By 7 0'clock, my penis started to become a bit engorged and I started to get really horny. The weird sensation began to ebb and I had a strong desire to wake my wife and initiate sex. At about the three hour mark, I had about a 60 to 70% erection and a strong desire to engage in intercourse. Unfortunately, my erection was not quite hard enough for penetration. Very frustrating.

I subsequently resorted to constriction to achieve a 90% erection and although I was able to engage in intercourse, I was never able to orgasm. The failure may partially have been a result of the constriction, but I felt it was the effects of the PT141. The partial engorgemet lasted for at least six more hours. A few months later, I started using Trimix which was significantly more successful and satisfying.

Since Trimix concentrates on the blood flow in the penis and PT141 works on the mind, it would be interesting to see how the combination of the two would work together. Now that I think about it, I would like to experiment with it. Just need to build up my courage to do it. If I do, I will definitely "publish" the results.

PT-141 (Bremelanotide) was developed from the peptide Melanotan, originally as a sunless taning agent to be used by individuals assigned to tropical areas so they would not be subject to sun burn. During the human testing phase, it was learned that it also caused increased sexual arousal and spontaneous erections among male volunteers. Accordingly, the development company, Palatin technologies, changed its development focus to a sexual dysfunction drug. Unlike Viagra which is directed to act on the vascular system, PT-141 acts directly on the nervous system.

In 2007, the FDA expressed concern that the drug caused increased blood pressure in some of the volunteers so Palatin stopped development of the drug as an ED drug. Instead the company changed direction and started research into the use of the drug as an anti inflamitory. Subsequently, Palatin reinitiated it's effort to develop the drug as a sexual dysfunction drug. In August, 2009, a double blind test among 54 subjects injecting the drug subcutaneously failed to evoke the hypertension side effects demonstrated previously when the drug was introduced nasaly in the prior studies.

The company is currently in negotiations with the FDA to do further human testing to confirm the drug's viability as an effective and safe sexual dysfunction drug.

I thought a little background information would be interesting to those who are not familiar with PT-141.

So where do you buy PT141?

Google pt141 and several sources will come up. You also need to mix it with bacteriostatic water. Accordingly, I recommend you google a dosing guide for Bremelanotide PT141. I am not certain, but I believe you add .1 ml of bacteriostatic water per mg of PT141 and inject .25 mg to .5 mg of pt141 or 2.5 to 5 units of the solution in an insulin syringe.

Remember, this drug has not been approved by the FDA and as such is sold only for research purposes. Though I have provided sourcing information, I am not recommending its use.

The FDA approved the use of PT141 for post-menopausal women a few years ago. Based on my experiments, age nor gender matters. (But my comment is totally subjective based upon the experiences my wife and I have had.)

I have a penile implant and PT141 causes my penis to engorge like a fat sausage, get dark red, just the way I like it, and it feels incredible. And that's before I pump up the implant.

My wife becomes a self-described "nympho" on PT141. She can't get enough penetration from me, and even the slightest touch by me on her clitoris feels like "electricity" to her. She wishes her clitoris could feel like it does on PT141, all the time.

We inject PT141 subcutaneously twice per week. The longer the intervals between injections (days), the better the results.

I worked these numbers out carefully:
1. One purchased vial containing exactly 10 mg of sterile PT141 powder.
2. Reconstitute (add water): Inject exactly 3 ml of bacteriostatic water into the vial. (Do this slowly to prevent damage to the PT141 compound.)
3. The reconstituted solution created from the previous step produces this ratio: 0.33 mg of PT141 per 10 tics on an insulin syringe. This has to be a syringe with markings of 1 cc/1 ml.

Required:
1. You'll need to obtain sterile reconstitution syringes that will hold a least 3 ml of bacteriostatic water.
2. You'll need some sterile insulin syringes. I recommend the Easy Touch brand, 31 gauge (tiny needle), 1 cc/1 ml syringe, 6-8mm long needles. For my numbers to work for you, you must use an injection syringe which has tics on it that are 1 cc/1 ml. This is VERY important. Otherwise, my numbers are useless.
3. Sterile alcohol pads for injections.

How much to inject? Start slowly and work up to a dose that works for the recipient: I say this because PT141 has had some undesirable side effects for my wife and me, and you want to see how you react to it. (My wife will tell you that the sexual high PT141 produces is worth all the side effects she has.)

I'll give you some working numbers, but you must work up to optimum doses on your own:
1. Start with 40 tics. That's 1.33 mg of injected PT141. You will probably not feel much, maybe nothing.
2. I weigh about 160 pounds. Through experimentation (40 tics -> 100 tics), I have found that a 60 tic dose works best for me with few side effects.
3. My wife weighs about 112 pounds. Through experimentation (40 tics -> 100 tics), she has found that a 72 tics dose works best for her with some side effects.
4. Allow 4-5 hours for PT141 to reach maximum effect.
5. Allow 16-18 hours for the PT141 effects to start tapering off. They may last for more than 2 days.

Side effects:
1. Me - I sometimes get low level nausea or just don't feel great until we start having foreplay. Then, those side effects disappear.
2. My wife - She usually has a "fathead" feeling (similar to a Viagra fathead), food aversion, doesn't feel great, and has a coughing, sneezing, runny nose fit for about 5 minutes, a few hours after injection. When we start having foreplay, those side effects disappear.

Techniques: I don't have the time to write them but there are many videos on the internet that will show you safe, sterile, and proper techniques.
1. You'll need to know the reconstitution technique (adding bacteriostatic water to the PT141 vial).
2. You'll need to know how to use the alcohol prep pads on the tops of vials and your skin.
3. You'll need to know how to safely inject the PT141 solution. (Inject it shallowly, just underneath your skin on your abdomen. Do not go deep.)

Storage:
1. Keep the unreconstituted PT141 powder in a deep freezer. It might last indefinitely.
2. Keep reconstituted PT141 solution in a cold refrigerator, 33F-38F, and it should remain potent for weeks (months?).

A few things that are interesting to note. I looked at experiences with Melatotan 2, (from what pt-141 was developed from), Vyleesi (which is PT-141/Bremelanotide in the dose of 1.75mg that is now FDA approved for premenopausal women only-actually comes as a preloaded auto injector) and PT-141 which is sold by various peptide websites, some of which are referred to in these forum posts.

In terms of efficacy, it appears to “work” in the majority of cases to greatly increase libido given dosing it enough, based on online reviews/experiences. (I know these are subjective and can be biased, but almost all the negative reviews actually say it worked but the side effects of nausea, vomiting, aching, headache etc. and the need for an injection make using this peptide a no go, rather than that it doesn’t make you horny) Many of the reviews by men indicate they were trying it for ED and negative reviews stated they were disappointed that it did not help erections or the erections were random and therefore not always conducive to actually improve sexual function, but….they were a lot more horny. Positive reviews described both strong erections and increased libido. Not an issue when if you successfully use Trimix, alprostadil monomix, etc. since if you have no issues injecting your dick, a poke under the skin of your abdomen should be a nonissue. Negative reviews by women relate to feeling awful from the injections so they had no interest in sex in spite of their horniness.

It seems almost all users have some degree of nausea or GI upset. This in line with high rate in the published clinical studies. The minority say they have no or trivial side effects.

Because of the non-regulated nature of these peptides some questioned potency etc. from the various companies, particularly when they didn’t appear to work. Also most of these companies accept payment in Bitcoin and other digital currency which I consider a bit sketchy/dark web-ish but I admit is becoming more commonplace these days.

So we’ll see. Probably will give it a go but will try to be cautious each step of the way.

I have recent experience checking it out. Thumbs up. Like I don't even need PDE5s, but in conjunction w/ PDE5 wow just wow. Affects erections (some spontaneous) but I don't feel horny(ier) on it.

Still looking to find an overseas supplier with good product because it's a little too expensive per go for my liking. And if it was cheaper I could be less concerned about wasting it.

I have good libido and good erections, but delayed ejaculation due to glans sensitivity falling off with age. Does PT141 do anything for that? dtwarren1942 seemed to say that it caused delayed ejaculation for him.

So I did 30 units on an empty stomach and NOTHING. LOL But maybe I screwed up. I drew from the same bottle I did my original 20 units from on Saturday October 30th. So that's eleven days in the fridge, sitting reconstituded. Is there a shelf life being in the fridge for this stuff? My first attempt with 20 units was pretty promising.
