Hi there.

I'm glad I stumbled on this place. It's exactly what I've been looking for after searching for a week for genuine testimonials, instead of websites that obviously have self interest in mind.

I'm a 58 year old Aussie, and a couple of years ago I suffered from heart faliure. It wasn't a heart attack, but I was in hospital for a few days. Among other meds I was prescribed Spiractin, and told that I might grow breasts. Well I did start to grow breasts after about four months, and I did a bit of research and found that it also causes ED, which followed shortly after. I saw my doc and she said it was OK to stop taking the Spiractin, and at my six month check up, an 'echo' showed that my heart was (almost) back to fully normal function. So now I'm just on two meds for high blood pressure: Candesartan (may help ED) and Bisoprolol (may cause ED).

But my ED has persisted. My cardiologist prescribed Viagra, and 50mg had been great for six months, but not so effective any more. 100mg worked last time but I'm worried that it will soon be the same story.

So I was just wondering about having an implant, but of course the prospect is a bit scary. This is a great site for first hand experience, and I've noticed one other Aussie here: Smetro. I'm not ready to jump in straight away, but I am wondering on the cost, on whether Medicare covers any of it, and any recommended urologist/surgeons in Australia?

I can vouch for Dr Chris Love in Melbourne, as far as I know, he is the highest volume implant surgeon in Oz and works closely with the elite of the US guys on the latest of techniques. My outcome couldn’t be better.

Its definitely better to address the issue sooner rather than later if you want to regain/retain size
