shaving

Postby Gingertom3 » Sun Sep 05, 2010 8:05 am

Wish I hadn't done it. After reading the paragraphs about shaving under the ehading "treatments" I thought hmmmm, seems like a good idea having a smooth area down there. My wife will like the feel of that. So I shaved, nicking myself slightly a few times. Nothing serious. A even spread the project over a few days as suggested. But try as I might, even with all the hair gone, it felt rough where the hair had been.
My wife, bless her, put up with some irritation against her vagina until she just had to tell me how uncomfortable it was.
She came up with the idea of having me poke my cock through the opening in my y-fronts.
That worked a treat! So I'm going to let the hair grow back. In the meantime I'll keep my shorts on.
She suggested that she might cut a mouth shape in her undies and sew some "eyes" on as well, to make it look like a face.
Nice sense of humour.

Hey Jim,

First time after surgery I really shaved, I stupidly used my sideburn trimmer to get the bulk removed. I had more knicks, pinches and small raw areas than you can imagine. Looked like a war zone in my underwear.

Paul suggested a shaver for the purpose. I bought something called the "ultimate personal shaver". You should be able to google it. It has a small comb type battery shaver for removing the large growth and a small rotary battery shaver for clearing the remaining stumps and stubble. Absolutely no discomfort. Shaving also helped with improving the seal on my pump...before my VED broke unexpectedly.

Thanks BrokenArrow. Gee, your name sounds like one of those Indian names. I like it!
As for shaving, I appreciate the ideas, but I'll grow my hair back. Maybe next time if I do shave that area again, I'll save that hair and paste in onto my head to cover the baldness. lol.
I didn't have a problem with the VED.
I'm sorry to learn that after surgery your gleason reading was 3+4. That's what mine was before surgery.
What are your psa readings?

Broken arrow loosely refers to a missile that failed launch...

So far, my PSA has been <0.1. My surgeon doesn't ask for the more sensitive tests. I have my 18 month coming up and already the PSA anxiety is setting in somewhat.

From my experience, the first couple of times you shave you'll have a lot of stubble. The more you shave, the less stubble will remain.

I usually shave in the shower lathering up with conditioner, not shaving gel. The conditioner makes the razor glide easier. Always shave with the grain... not against.

I use a manual 4-blade razor and the results are very good.

(My wife taught me the tricks about shaving.)
