Odds of getting penile scarring from injections?

What are the odds of getting penile scarring from Edex injections? I know it depends on severalfactors but is there a study or statistics that tell the percentage of men who might get scars/curvature /Peyronie's diseaseas?

Back in December there was a short thread "Has Anyone Experienced Scaring..." one of the posters jstars cited a statistic of about 7% of injectors experience severe scarring/fibrosis. You may want to pm him to inquire where he found this information.

It is my understanding that you can substantially reduce the risk if you use good injecting techniques:

1) not more often than twice a week
2) Alternate sides.
3) Do not inject near the same spot as much as possible. Move up and down the shaft
4) use the smallest needle possible. 31 gauge 5/16 inch needle is best
5) Push the plunger slowly - take 30 to 60 seconds to push the plunger all the way in.
6) Hold the syringe hard against your shaft throughout the process.
7) after removing the needle press in on the injection site with your thumb for five minutes.
B) after the five minutes, roll your penis between your palms for a few minutes.
9) lightly jelq (massage) your penis several times throughout the rest of the day.

My uro has me taking 400 i.u. of vitamin E per day.It did get rid of my scarring and has prevented new scarring. Good luck. Art from Alaska

brickman. To get rid of existing scarring I took 800 iu of vitamin E. Now I am at 400 iu of E to prevent new scarring. Art.

My cardiologist told me not to use Vitamin E because it may cause more damage to the heart. Before taking it, research it out.
