I'm still trying to get a handle on my situation, 90 degree bend. Thought it was getting better at 6 weeks just looked down and in bed it still bends over 90 degrees exactly like the very first time.
Is this a permanent deformation? I was promised before surgery that my tips would be perfectly even within one millimeter. I came out with a 1/4 inch mismatch about 6 times that. Anyone have the same problem? I know some have already responded. I need to know if this is permanent, are there ways to fix it? Anyone have this problem for say a year or more?
Hard for the bedroom soft for the gym and deformed!
I went to uro #2 for a 2nd opinion. He says you have a slight bend (90 degrees, really) When I asked if it would go away he replied it's not my surgery and got huffy. It's not causing you pain (wrong I still have right tip pain every day use a heating pad every night) getting better ( wrong again) and won't interfere with sex. I told you before that you couldn't be pleased I'm done I knew seeing you was a mistake and he walked out. So do all uros cover for each other when they do a crap job? Should I just be happy?
I've got another appt next month with a uro in another county hoping he will tell me the truth.
I'm thinking about writing Kramer for help. Any words of wisdom from you guys will help me figure this out. Should I just give up and be disfigured for the rest of my life or not?
Thanks

Re: Permanently disfigured?
Is your concern that you have a bend deflated or inflated? With a 90 degree bend I would have thought a Titan was a better match but give it time, especially if you mean deflated bend. This is no time to be discussing revision.

Re: Permanently disfigured?
While I'm still saying 'it's still early, try to relax and continue to heal', I will say my first implant "suffered" from a "cross" and bent at a 45ish degree angle about 1" out from the base. Bad job by a lying surgeon. It did require a revision. Revision straightened it out..... Good luck man.....

Re: Permanently disfigured?
I am concerned that the "soft for the locker room" part that Boston advertises and my experience with the LGX the first time, is not enough rigidity force to counter the scar (or whatever) forces that are leaving you with a bent dick. Does it straighten when you pump it up as hard as you can? I have a slight curve which is visible when first pumped. Lay a ruler beside it and about 1/4" to 3/8 gap in the middle between. I timed it last night and 6 minutes later it was straight. It slowly bends straight but so slow it can't be seen changing. I was straight flacid before the first implant but in the vacuum tube the Rt would fill first, then the left with a left curve, then the left would fill on out and it would be straight. Somewhere I had posted pictures of my first implant and it bent in about 3 directions. It was a crooked impossible to use little piece of crap. I hope you get some ideas and resolution soon. If it will straighten fully pumped, try to do that as often as you can and with deflate, try leaving some fluid in if you can. Cheers man and a hug.

I echo that. If you are concerned with cycling too much for wear and tear on the pump, then cycle once a day for as long as you can stand and then just deflate a little for another hour. That equals less pumping and more time straight.

Hawk, I would think this is 1 case where the wear on the pump is justified if it prevents permanent disfigurement. Basically an inflated implant is a mold that forms the shape of your penis if you can inflate it to be more rigid than the stresses of your natural tissue. If that penis stays a wreck a long enough period of time, a sturdier implant, modeling or even grafting will be the only option. Given the option of a new surgery or possibly a revision due to wear, the options are the same. Both are surgical interventions so one has to decide whether wear to prevent surgery is justified if it can provide the intended result. The good part is if he has a lucky pump that might last 15 years and pumping the snot out of it knocks it down to 5 he still has 5 w/o surgery with the possibility of correcting the problem with a simple revision. I very much agree with the just deflate a little bit. You have to be quick though to do that. Almost to the point of hit the deflate button and then try to squeeze the near hard bulb fast so it does not deflate to the point of no benefit. often I would find I have to repump it back to the level I wanted because I could not squeeze the bulb on my AMS w/o going back to a full deflate. It just stayed too hard. It is surprising that an implant inflated to the max, all you can get, say the 36 pumps I get and held to the point pain sets in, only has to be reduced slightly after that point to say the 30 pump level to not be any pain at all and will retain the straightness of the original stretched level. Pumping it hard and to the point it is straight and even a few more pumps and then deflating it SLIGHTLY often will still retain the straightness. Surprising but that has been my experience. Cheers all. Try it for a week and tell us how it goes.

Re: Permanently disfigured?
Thanks guys. Before implant I was straight as an arrow. The problem is the implant. One side is longer than the other. During surgery they did not make both chambers inside my penis the same length. And yes a good surgeon will absolutely do that. Instead they fudged the measurement rounded one side up and the other down. So the right cylinder is too long and the left cylinder too short for the chambers.
If they could cut into left chamber at the bottom and push the rte up about 3/16 of an inch the problem would go away.
Saw my uro yesterday for my 6 week appt. Of course he ignored my concerns and praised his good work. Don't get me wrong he did do a stellar job overall. That does not fix a deformed penis. He pumped me up and deflated straightened me out and said It's straight. About 12 seconds later 90 degrees again. I told him that the pump was not in the scrotum where the manufacturer said it should be that I was left handed and locked it up constantly trying to use it. He said you didn't tell me you were left handed. What a douche. That should not matter.
Look I realize that these guys put their licence on the line every day and that insurance costs can put them out of business but they chose their lot and poor performer is no excuse
I've been sleeping pumped up for weeks and still no change at all. Plus the right rte is constantly pushing harder than the right. That causes distal erosion and the tip will eventually come through my penis if I push things too hard. So far nothing has helped.
I have a call into another uro a fix it guy and an appt with a second guy Donnie's uro. Hopefully someone has some answers. Regardless no more surgeries this year for me maybe next. I can still have sex with about 4 pumps I'm sure haven't tried yet. I can't even successfully masturbate can't imagine sex would be good at this point.
I should point out that this is not an s curve problem where the penis was made too long and the body just needs time to compensate. No my flaccid penis is almost exactly the same length as my fully pumped. In fact I should have had at least one more rte each side but that is a different concern. I was pumped 20 percent when I left surgery. That permanently stretched me out to my new flaccid length. No complaints there. Had my tips been perfectly aligned and the pump put where it should be, perfect surgery.

Re: Permanently disfigured?
How difficult it for you to go to Kramer who does a lot of revisions? I know it is a trip and an expense that many cannot afford but as you can see, it often becomes the less expensive and least bothersome solution. I feel for you because I cannot fathom thinking of revision while I was still healing.

Re: Permanently disfigured?
With that explanation and you sleeping with it fully pumped, I would say it needs a rip out and replacement with a competent doctor then. Sorry man. That really really sucks.
