How hardness is measured

I've noticed that some postings refer to the hardness of an erection by a percentage. for example 80% , etc. What does this mean? How is the hardness of an erection measured? To me if my erection is hard enough for good sex its 100%. Also Ive notice that even though I get a great erection where its very hard, there seems to still be enough room under the penis skin for more thickness. Will injecting a larger dose make it thicker?

I am having a bit of a "hard" time with this as well. When I use the trimix my erection points straight out not skyward like it did when I was young so I think of that as about 80%.....I could still use it but it isn't all the way there. When I use a VED it gets very hard but because it isn't hard behind the ring there is definitely a hinge effect but even so it is very usable but for some reason I can't orgasm with the constriction. Not a real answer but for me 100% would be a full skyward pointing boner that you couldn't bend downwards without hurting yourself

Why do you need to have a skward erection? As long as its hardness to prenetrate your partner and stays hard until you ejeculate thats what matters. Hard is hard. What does your partner think?

A skward erection is good to have because it hits certain parts of vagina that is very pleasurable for a woman.

I am just measuring against what I had before I started to suffer from ED and then my erection pointed upwards and was completely stiff. With the trimix it is stiff enough for penetration but not completely stiff. My other issue is how long it stays usable which right now isn't long enough. I can use my VED and a constiction ring and have no problems except I can orgasm but it works great for my SO. I am trying the trimix to see if that will help me but until I can get it to work better I'm not ready to try it for real. You were asking how the erection percentages were used and I just gave you what I use......when everything was working right my erections pointed up and I am not able to get there....I may never be able to get there.

WHat dose are you using? I use .20cc or 20 units and I stay hard for over 2 hours. Sometimes I have to take Sudafed to get down so I down get prisapms. Maybe your dose is too small

When I use Viagra, a tight constriction band, and kegel in as much blood as possible, my erection is close to rock hard and the skin is very taught. I am cut by the way. I consider this a 99% erection (there is always room for improvement where erections are concerned). Unfortunately, these erections loose sensitivity rather quickly and the constriction needs to be removed every 20 minutes.

My Trimix induced erections are not quite as hard and the outer skin is not as taught and I sometimes need to add lube to be sure it slides in as far as possible. Occasionally, I even feel I need to press in a bit harder to get it to slide in. I consider these erections to be between 80 and 90%. They get the job done, but I always seem to have that slight anxiety in the back of my mind that this could be the time it isn't going to work.

I have also occasionally experienced penetration with just Viagra and a few supplements; however, these erections are even softer and it takes a lot of positive thinking to get it to slide in on it's own and they usually fade quickly. These I consider 70 to 80% erections.
