Yesterday's trimix injection didn't go well

Postby Desertrat1 » Wed May 02, 2012 10:19 am

I"ve been injected twice now and still having some issues. The first time was PGE1 and my penis ached really bad from that one. Yesterday I injected myself in the doctor's office with trimix at around 8:30 am and was very hard by 9:00 am. I did experience some ache from the trimix and the erection lasted 6.5 hrs and went down on its own just before I was leaving for the uro's office after getting the Phenylephrine from the compounding pharmacy myself.

I have a couple of questions:
First, I've heard that damage can occur to the smooth muscle tissue if an erection last over 6 hours. I went over that time limit a little. Do you think I possibly did some damage?

Second, I injected 25 units of trimix. My uro says back it off 25%. Does that sound about right to back off to say 18 units?

Third, will the ache get better as time goes on? I'm hoping it will lessen with the lower dosage I will be needing. I would have been able to have sex with it for the first 30 minutes but after that it would have been too painfull. I didn't take a PDE5 inhibitor the night before. I wonder if I took a levitra if I could use a lower dose of trimix and I am wondering how much lower it could be?

Any help with these questions will be appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure if you’re for real or just a troll with you posting??? Your questions are almost beyond belief but I’ll give you my comments anyway.

I'm not a Doc but its common knowledge that any erection lasting over four (4) hours is reason for concern. Example, all the warnings about erections lasting longer than four (4) hours to see a doctor when using Viagra, Cialis, Levitra. Shit, even the grandkids know that from watching TV. Yes, same warning applies to injections.

You didn’t mention your Tri-Mix formulary, how much of each type medicine, or what your first time dosage was that caused you pain??? How did you determine that you needed to inject 25 units the second time??? You need to talk with your doctor to answer your medical questions and instructions regarding your injections. Additionally, you need to take a lot of responsibility for educating yourself regarding ED treatments. Since you found this internet site do your homework and use the internet for more ED information.

Don’t mean to sound like a dick but c’mon man, get smarter and start helping yourself!

D Rat, your prior posts seem legit and are consistent with this one. My suggestion would be to reduce your next injection to 15 units because the 25 units you tried previously had such an aggressive effect on your erection. Once you start to reduce the dosage, the aching tends to be reduced. If not, your doc can adjust the ingredient formula to reduce the aching.

Good luck at finding the correct dosage.
