Perhaps a VED (Vacuum Erection Device) wih constriction rings might enable you to have intercourse?

I recall that Dr Kramer went to Turkey not too long ago and trained some surgeons. Perhaps contacting Dr Kramer for some names of those surgeons would shorten your travel requirments.

Paul gave good advice. An implant is destructive and irreversible. It will leave you permanently impotent if the device fails (until you get it replaced). If a true cure comes along next year or next decade (when you will stll be under 30 years of age) you will be unable to take advantage of it.

Thank you, I'll take those surgeon suggestions into consideration.

Urologists do precribe them and if there are "sex shops" (shops that sell sexual paraphenalia, so-called "sex toys' or "marital aids", those are much cheaper and perform the same function, maybe not as durable or as well, but they can suffice) available to you, they can be a source.

I hear you on your desire not to waste your best years. When sex became impossible for me, I did not hesitate, not did I try less invasive but more problematic treatments. After pills became ineffective, I skipped injections (try ing a VED just a couple of times for sex, but used extensively for therapy to maintain penile health) and went straight the implant. An imperfect solution, but the best available for me in 2017. In 2016, there was no usable erectile function to lose if the implant operation failed.

I also think my ED was from a broke penis. In my 20’s during sex with wife on top. I heard a loud pop and pain and loss of erection. I was sore but did not have any erection problems after. Years later I developed a small pea size hard spot in base of my penis. My urologist thought I had a tumor but did a scope and was not. A few years later I had major surgery and had a catheter soon after i developed Peyronies. Then ED issues. Took the oral meds and worked for a while. Have used a vacuum device and ring since. Last year I finally saw a couple urologists in a larger city and finally had a Doppler. Same as you they can’t tell me why I have ED. I had went because I was at the point I wanted a implant. But my insurance won’t pay. I was like you and did not want the injections for fear of scaring, etc. but I finally said ok let’s try it. After trimix did not work had my first quadmix this week with success. You may want to try if you can get them in your country. If not you can order a vacuum device on line or a urologist should be able to get you one. The ones I have were purchased online. I still use them and it will get you hard enough for sex. You should get one if for nothing else to kept your penis exercised. Without having erections you will lose size. The old “use it or loose it” saying will happen.
This is one I have. But thy can be purchased online at many sites. Don’t know if you can get
Amazon in your county but they also have them.

Good luck! We all know the mental effects of ED, but I know with being 19 it has taken a toll on you. Don’t give up, there is help, I know it seems like it will never get better.

Yes, sex is basically impossible for me at the moment. I am willing to give injections a try before going for the implant - I have an uro appointment next week to discuss this option and maybe get a prescription. I'll update on how it goes

Thanks! A question though - do these vacuum devices help you keep an erection better, or do they help you achieve one? I seem to be unable to get an erection at all, I don't know if they'll help.

Also thanks for the encouraging words, this has been really hard for me but I hope I can find a solution in the near future.

Both, You pump up your penis to max and roll the constriction ring down on your penis. It should keep it hard if you are using the correct size ring for a while. For me it would not last long enough for me to climax even though I would cycle several times. For you once may be enough. Don't keep it on too long (30+ minutes). I used the Encore brand about $100.

I cannot get an erection for many years. The VED is a mechanical device that pulls your penis into a vacuum cylinder and pulls blood into the penis to create a erection. To keep the erection you must use a ring with The VED to hold the blood in the penis. Has worked every time for me.

tonydante wrote:(edite for focus) do these vacuum devices help you keep an erection better, or do they help you achieve one? I seem to be unable to get an erection at all, I don't know if they'll help.

They sure do. Under a vacuum you penis fills with blood (just as it does for a "natural" erection I got a HUGE erection inside the vacuum chamber every time and for as long as I kept the vacuum up.

Problem is, as soon as I released the vacuum, the pressure differential between the inside of my penis and the outside went away and the erection collapsed. I had to maintain the vacuum to maintain the erection. But for as long as it lasted, the erection was (as one woman put it) "impressive".

The only way to keep the erection outside the vacuum chamber was to trap the engorging blood in my penis with a constriction ring. Not unlike a balloon, you have to close off where the air leaks out if you want to keep it inflated.

I used my VED extensivelly, not for sex (which we found unsatisfactory), but just to maintain elasticity of my penile tissues and to flush oxygenated blood through my tissues.

tonydante wrote:Hey everybody,
I've decided to sit down and explain my story and ask what would be the best course of action for me. I've suffered a lot because of this and am already thinking of getting an implant sometime in the future because my experience with ED so far and being an impotent virgin at 19 years old has been agonizing to say the least.

Like I've explained in the title, I am a 19 year old virgin from a country in Eastern Europe(don't want to specify too much).

My ED started around the time I first started masturbating. Being a pretty stupid kid, the first kind of anything sexual I stumbled upon was pretty rough porn. Thinking that was the way to go, I began masturbating very hardly and roughly(I remember my penis being and pain and feeling sore), until I heard a pop sound and my erection died down.(I was initially worried that I had done something to my penis, but I shrugged it of and continued with life and just forgot about that incident, keep in mind I was only 12). I also took accutane for a few motnhs when I was 14. I honestly have no idea if it contributed to the ED since by then I had already had the aforementioned incident.

So I went on with my life and didn't think much of this, while my EQ waned over the years. When I had my first sexual experience at 15, I discovered I couldn't get hard for the life of me. And that's when I realised I had a problem. 4 years have passed since then and I have had many other sexual encounters and all of them have failed. I have tried everything possible in that time, doing Nofap for over a year, going to 4-5 doctors and having nothing found, cialis and viagra. Nothing has worked. When I was 17 I also did Kegel exercises for a while because I read online they could help with ED - sadly they made it much worse.

My life has for the past year and a half has been nothing but fighting ED, but it's been to no avail. Reading possible causes, lurking in forums, going to doctors and having tests done. I thought pelvic floor dysfunction was the closest thing I could find to my case, so for the past year I have tried all sorts of therapies and rehab exercises - specialized strength training, the DCT program if somebody has heard of it. This initially helped to some extent but the improvement has never been long-term. I am planning to give pelvic floor rehab exercises and DCT some more time before I deem them completely useless for me, but I am already considering the prospect of an implant if they fail, so I can be done with ED once and forever.

So here are my questions - Has anybody with a similar cause of ED(injury/pelvic floor dysfuncton) gotten an implant? What are the most popular and effective implant models?(I've seen that it's possible to get an AMS 700 in my country - is it an effective and satisfactory option?) Does the surgeon who does the operation matter? Should I just pick something at a reasonable price for my country, but less trusted, or go for a more expensive, but satisfactory option abroad?(I see dr. Eid is deemed as something as a demigod in here, but in order to afford going to the USA and getting the implant, I'd have to save money for the next 2-3 years so I can afford doing that).

Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to understand my story and give me suggestions. I will admit I have had a horrible time with this in the past years, but I am trying to stay positive and make something of my life.

One last thing to add, if someone assumes it's all in my head since I'm so young - I don't have any morning or night erections, neither can I get one while masturbating, that's besides all the treatments I've tried.
