In my case, pentoxifylline did not work, and the vacuum pump worsened (I think more fibrosis). I think it is very different to have fibrosis in the tunica than to have fibrosis in the corpus cavernosum, so we have to be careful with what we advise
Pentoxifylline is proven to work for corporal fibrosis. I suspect you simply were not diligent enough or was paranoid by the sensation of the fibrosis/scar being disrupted which is good and normal when using a pump. No need to discourage others of the only effective non surgical treatments. The most important thing to have in these cases is the mental strength to use and stick with the treatments even past mild discomfort
Hello, it is true that everyone who has Peyronie's takes pentoxifylline, but it is also true that doctors have stopped sending it to patients because there is not enough scientific evidence. In my case it did not help me, it only helped me to have tachycardia, and more anxiety since I suffer from anxiety, and pentoxifylline is similar to caffeine. As for the vacuum pump, I do not intend to discourage anyone, the only thing I want is that no more damage is done. In my experience, the only thing that really helps are the substances that make you have good nocturnal erections and therefore more oxygenated penis. substances such as tadalafil 5mg, l arginine, zinc, sildenafil... etc. and a good diet and moderate physical exercise. I think it's easier to do a good rehabilitation of the penis having as many erections as possible and with good blood circulation. As for the vacuum pump and extenders for body fibrosis, I think they are useless unless you want to go for the implant, so yes, there are doctors who recommend vacuum pumps and extenders to recover size or minimize the loss of size.
Could you tell me what studies have recently shown what you say about pentoxifylline? Do you have bodily fibrosis? By the way, you can't suspect anything of me (if I wasn't diligent or I was too paranoid) since you don't know me and you don't know my case exactly. You remind me of those many urologists who have no idea about penile diseases and say the same thing you say: ohhh you are too paranoid.
The only thing I want is that no more damage is done than what this young man already has on his penis.
In the same way, without knowing you, I could say that I suspect that you think to get more subscribers to your YouTube channel and more likes on your videos. Do you see my suspicion about you correct?
Another recommendation that I would make to this young man would be that he write directly to Dr. Trost or Dr. Eid in the forum of peyronies forus.net in the section they have in the forum and see their opinion since they are specialized doctors in this and are those who can give the best opinion.
You literally said you have anxiety. This is why you weren't able to get through the initial discomfort and actually stick with VED and Pentox. Pentox improves blood flow by reducing blood viscoscity. IDK what has anything to do with coffee since coffee is literally the opposite.
There's plenty of studies on Pentox and VED for fibrosis and corporal fibrosis:

And many more if you google round. I'd rather believe the science than someone who couldn't stick to the treatments.
