That's interesting. It actually contradicts what's commonly found in urology literature.

Journal of Translational Andrology and Urology
Recent technological development of penile prosthesis: a literature review
Vol 13, No 1 (January 31, 2024)

"IPPs, given their increased complexity, have a greater propensity for mechanical failure. On the other hand, erosion rates were higher for malleable prostheses compared to IPPs"

Clavell/Hakky charge around 16K, while some teaching university hospitals here are closer to 12K. However, I’m not comfortable with inexperienced residents or fellows cutting my penis, even with senior surgeons supervising.

I can vouch for the teaching hospitals and not wanting people who are learning the trade doing the cutting no matter how much the dr. in charge claims he is there supervising. 3 surgeries later and I'm having issues with my 6-2024 revision.

Wow this actually looks better than i expected. For some reason i had the idea that it would be more obvious that there is an implant.

However, i imagine it must be hard to achieve a 2 o clock or 1:30 erection with this type of implant?

But if you can also hide it with the malleable, then what is the benefit of the inflatable?

These Malleable Disadvantages are Inflatable's Advantages
-Malleables have no length and girth expansion from cycling
-Max rod diameter is 14mm by Rigicon Rigi10 and not like Coloplast Titan inflatables with 21+ mm expansion if anatomy allows
-Always being stiff is not everyone's personal preference
-Concealing in tight formal clothes can be uncomfortable for someone's professional setting. Think about a school teacher in front of kiddos. Not everyone can remain nude or wear baggy clothes 24/7.
-Wobbling and swivelling foundation overtime with silicone's wear and tear. Compare solid tires vs inflatable tires.
-Unnatural. Not physiologic. Natural fucking bloody erection is hydraulic.
-Tissue atrophy can be faster due to constant hardness
-Erosion odds are higher compared to inflatables
-Grandpa cannot have grandbabies sit and jump on the lap

To me it sounds from this that you lose maybe 1cm in length and a bit of girth (i read on this forum that dr's put 1cm shorter implant on purpose to avoid erosion). But in my case 1cm is not the end of the world.

From this list the part that worries me the most is the "concealment" issue, but some people here in the forum say that it is very easy to conceal, so i am not sure what to think of it.

Until recently i was in very good physical shape and even had a six pack, so i often like to wear tighter clothes both on tshirts and jeans. Never in my like i enjoyed wearing "baggy" clothes. I wonder if this would still be possible with a malleable. Or if i would be forced to wear baggy clothes for the rest of my life.

I get it, until you’ve got one yourself, it’s all theory and mystery! Your anatomy is truly unique to you.

But if you’re all about concealing, stealth mode, tight clothes, and comfort, a malleable isn’t for you.

Malleables are for cheapskates like me, who’d rather have a rock-solid, no-moving-parts, dependable setup than worry, “When’s this stupid tubing thing gonna pop and leak like a cheap water balloon one day?”  8-)

That said, if you have compromised hand dexterity, like after surviving a stroke, a malleable is highly recommended. The drawback? Wifey might miss her pumping foreplay. The upside? You won’t need a trip to the bathroom for a pumping ritual before a casual hookup's bedroom action. :o :D
