You look like someone who has a good dick and I think Coloplast would work well for you. I checked and my pump is Touch. Easy to inflate and deflate. Honestly, I think you're probably overthinking but I love your research. The best answer to this question would be to email Dr. Hakky and ask him directly. He would likely respond back to you in 24 hours.

I just had an appointment with Hakky and honestly, it went great. They did a sonogram and found the leakage in the tube connecting to the reservoir. He said the issue is not the implant or pump but the tubing. He said it looked like a slow leak. This means that the tubing connected to the reservoir somehow caused the problem. The good news is that my Coloplast is under warranty. He said since everything looked good - the implant, pump, and reservoir - just the tubing gave the issue, he would likely replace the whole thing again and keep the same model.

I had a virtual and an in person consult with him and he assured me that I should be fine with the Titan. I'm especially concerned if the front tips will be properly seated in the middle of my glans and he assured me that would be the case. My glans is just a tad bit above 1 inches side to side. Would appreciate if you could please share yours.

One thing he did mention that I may or may not have dog ears. Do you have any dog ears?
55 years. Using bimix 0.4 units. Works well but inconsistent and very inconvenient. Seriously considering an implant.

Sambalamba, I did have dog ears in the beginning but they went away after the implant softened up. I have replied back to your PM.

A young guy in his early 30s from South Asia. Implanted Titan 22cm by Dr. Tariq Hakky in Atlanta (Dec 2020). Amazing doctor! No pain during recovery. My size is 5.75” x 4.6” which is better than pre-OP size of 5.6” x 4.5”. Hoping to gain more in future.

Hello, Just went through the same process. Problem was slow leak from titan touch. Surgeon said one of the tubes from the cylinder entering the pump was broken off. Noted that he's had a few patients which similar case, so he's switched back to recommending the classic pump for those wanting Coloplast. Mentioned a few interesting things about titan touch 1) the triangle orientation that the 3 tubes enter the pump is more prone to twisting force with normal use 2) that tubing is not made in house by Coloplast so may be some quality control issues.

I just had my pump switched rather than having the whole thing replaced (which was offered, but I wanted a faster recovery). So far so good and back to using the implant within 1 week (although was told to wait 2 weeks).

I am glad you posted your experience. My hunch tells me to move to the Classic Genesis pump too but then I heard that One Touch is easier to deflate and makes no sound when pumping up. Thoughts?

I would also appreciate it if you can answer the following:

1. How much did the revision cost you? Did you pay out of pocket or did insurance cover it?
2. How easy is the Classic Pump to deflate compared to a Touch Pump?
3. Who was your Dr who recommends using the Classic pump over the Touch Pump?

One big downside I am hearing about the Classic Pump is that it makes a squeaking sound when pumped. How annoying is that for your partner every time you want to have sex?

Hi there, sorry for delayed response.

1. revision cost nothing, i met my deductible for year. I have blue cross blue shield insurance in california.
2. classic is easier to find the deflate, but the problem is i have to hold it down vs my touch pump which i held for maybe 3 seconds and then let go. Both pumps, I am squeezing the penis to speed up the deflation though. It does make the clown horn type of sound sometimes when I pump it up and more so than the touch pump. But the touch pump did that sometimes too, but not as frequently. I was informed about this by the good doctor before surgery. For me doesn't matter, but for you in terms of concealing that you have an implant the Touch might make more sense or even consider AMS for the pump.
3. Dr. D Patel in san diego, UCSD
62 year old, ED+PD, Coloplast Titan 22 cm no RTE in 2019 with Dr. Irwin Goldstein => failure, now with plaque excision/tunical expansion to Coloplast Titan 26 no RTE in 2022 by Dr. Darshan Patel, now with classic pump 2024 :D

Jwdetails, thanks for the update! I appreciate it.

Update: I asked Hakky that if the pump tubing caused the issue, then give me Classic BUT if the issue is with tubing from the reservoir side, then give me the same Touch pump.

So during the surgery he found out that the issue was with the tubing of the Touch pump. Due to bending, it broke slightly, so he decided to put a Classic pump.

He said that people who exert a lot of pressure on the classic pump tend to break it. So if I am gentle, it should be okay. So I thought to myself, how do I pump? And turns out I am gentle when pumping, thus I should be fine. I really hope this one lasts me 10 years!

Another thing is that due to constant pumping over the last 4 years, my penis stretched out and as a result, I now have 23 cm implant (22cm + 1 rte).
