The good is that I could have an erection again. The AMS is more natural feeling, no krinkly feel, no dog ears, quiet pump and the wife says it feels more natural. This is my observations.

why did you switch drs for the 2nd implant?

did the titan feel natural to you while erect?

I switched Drs because he couldn't get me in, probably still wouldn't be installed. He is a very good surgeon but I did not want to wait that long. I found the 2nd surgeon through EDcure and is a Center of Excellence, just like the original surgeon. The Titan felt to me natural but I know it was never that hard in its natural state, the AMS is no different, this is my perspective. The Titan I could get to 35 pumps, so far with the AMS I started at 7-8 pumps for erection but now I am up to 21, I think that is a little much as the wife will complain, but you are not going to bend it either.

I had sent you a PM a couple of months ago to discuss further. I'm leaning towards the Titan.

I see you got your Titan in 2021 from Dr. Eid. When did you get the AMS? Did your Titan fail or you switched to the AMS because you didn't like the Titan?

I got the AMS in August of 2024. I switched mostly because I didn't like the titan, it didn't fail.

Wolfpacker, who did your revision for the AMS? I got my implant almost 2 months ago from Dr. Eid who only does the Titan*, which I kind of regret, though I am not going to change it at this point. (*Eid says he’ll do an AMS ‘if you want’, but then tells you all the reasons why it’s a bad idea. He also incorrectly says that it’s only for men who are really below average size, which I know you’re definitely not. Eid clearly has some type of agreement with Coloplast. I wanted the AMS because I have a thinner penis and now with the Titan when I pump up, I have the flat surfboard look which I do not like.)

Martin25, Glad to hear that you're through with your tough recovery. I'm heavily leaning towards the Titan but haven't completely ruled out the AMS yet. I don't think Dr. Eid has necessarily any financial motivation behind his Titan preference. It could be his emotional as well as logical preference. He is at the tail end of his career and I doubt he gives a hoot about money that much anymore. Both AMS and Titan IPPs have their advantages and disadvantages from a device construction standpoint and how that fits one's anatomy. Believe me they are plenty of people who say their dick looks like a pancake with AMS as well. Can you share your pre-op length and girth? I have sent a PM to you.

Yeah the titan definitely seems like it is too much for guys with an average or thinner penis girth. I got my revision from Dr Hawksworth at Walter Reed military medical center.

Hey Wolfpacker,

By any chance can you please share you CX and Titan pics side by side? In your journal I see your Titan but not the CX? Your Titan pics look just great. I would be ecstatic to have a look like that. What was the thing you hated about the Titan the most, the dog ears, the front tips, the stretch when erect? And what do you not like about the AMS? I'm 6.25 inches bone pressed to tip and 5 inches girth at base and 4.5 inches mid shaft.

I think my penile tissue has definitely atrophied and thinned out since my pics of the titan were taken unfortunately - I'll try to get some with the CX for comparison purpose, but again I think my soft tissue has reduced so it's not exactly a fair comparison

Wolfpacker, did you consistently take 5 mg of daily cialis and still experience this tissue thinning you talk about? Were you generally keeping the implant fully deflated when not in use?

Separately, how did this thinner tissues affect your sex life?

Thank you.

Doesn't the Titan have tubing issues?
40. Implanted July 5, 2024, by Dr. Andrew Kramer, Urology Associates of Cape Cod. AMS LGX, 21cm cylinders + 2cm RTEs. Idiopathic "hard flaccid" ED following bacterial infection. Tried pulse waves, Cialis, TRT, even spinal injections. Nada.
