You made the right decision going with the MPP, fuck all those revisions and problems with the IPP's, cost is one thing, but the emotional and mental anguish when you have a IPP break down is not worth it anymore too me, I went thru 4 of those fucking things and went thru a hello ride for 4 years,, it's the concern of loosing size and I get it,,, I was there,,, and thinking back on it each time I had a IPP revision I would bring up the MPP option and the surgeon would eventually go back to talking about size loss with the MPP and make it sound like I would end up with a micro dick,,,,,,,,,, What a easy way to talk a guy into a IPP.,, and then after all the bullshit is over and done and I finally pull the trigger on a MPP,, and I lost a 1/2 inch of girth ??? I'm a fucking idiot some times,, live and learn,,
My MPP one year anniversary will be Feb, 1st, and I would bet the house a IPP couldn't even come close to surviving what this Genesis has taken over the last 11 months,, and it definitely wouldn't have survived this past weekend, some of you guys on here know exactly what I'm talking about, the wifey was absolutely brutal fuck toy this weekend.

Thanks brother. That's Zen wisdom shared here. Reading this makes me feel it's all going to be worth it.

100% agree, the surgeon treats malleables as inferior class. I think it reflects in patient surveys and negative placebo effect does play a role. His first response - "Why malleable"? Says it's like a Camry while an inflatable is like an S-class Mercedes. Had to tell him I drive a Camry. He chuckled and knew where I was going with this.

Day 6 today and my pain was through the roof. I guess the nerve block has worn off completely and reality is kicking in. Ice packs are helping. Easymoney, you suggested frozen peas bag in one post, it's awesome. It's malleable
(no pun intended) around my shaft. Even oxycodone didn't cut it. My bad, I didn't proactively take my pain meds and thought I can muscle it through.

The surgeon recommends pointing the dick up to prevent edema around the incision. The toughest part is pointing the dick up with a sub-coronal incision. A wide elastic band from jock strap helps point the dick towards the belly button, but it hurts around the incision. Additional layers of gauze and wrap helps a lot.

I have to say, I'm loving my 24/7 hard on. It feels like a strong therapy after years of ED. Good bye to my flaccid penis.

I’ll be paying out of pocket as well, so it made sense - but even if I had this covered by insurance, I’m very hesitant to go IPP on account of the fear of more revisions / device reliability over time.

Thank you and good luck, FenderStrat_93! Your reasoning makes total sense.

LastHope, I'm really sorry to hear you're in so much pain. It's definitely important to stay "ahead" of the pain and take the hardcore pain drugs well before you think you're going to need them. Just one of the weird things about pain management. Obviously you're not going to take them for longer than you need them, but in this early stage it's important to keep the pain at bay in a preventative fashion.

In the few days after surgery I had a pair of mesh underwear with a bunch of balled-up gauze in place to keep my penis pointed out, but not straight up. It worked pretty well to prevent edema for me. I still had a little bit of swelling, but mainly that was quite localized at the incision sites and wasn't systemic. Maybe something like that will work for you?

I'm not sure why, because I was so overwhelmed that I didn't ask immediately after the surgery, but my doctor told me to avoid using cold packs and cold compression. I wonder if anyone (or you) has insight as to why that might have been.

I really relate to what you say about having a 24/7 hard-on feeling like therapy after years of ED. I feel like we are making up for all the time lost when we couldn't achieve or keep an erection. This is our time, now!

I was constantly icing after each surgery, of course you want to keep any incisions clean and dry, I didn't need much for painkillers.
Was it a day surgery ? or did you spend the night ?
And I guess a phone app for a IPP hard dick could be a problem, the wifey would be constantly grabbing my phone then,, the wifey is 14 years younger than me, never any kids, runs and works out everyday one way or another, always keeps herself tight and toned beyond belief, has the skin, tits, and ass of a 25 y/o and I don't even know what to compare her libido too,, I'm pretty sure her pic is in the dictionary under the word (NYMPHOMANIAC) it keeps me in shape also, I'm 64 and I still have somewhat of my 6 pack abs yet, OK maybe a 4 pack.......
We are all blessed one way or another,,, and SWorks17,, you made me laugh when I read it,, I don't know for the life of me how you knew I was tied up this past weekend,, quit that damn spying on me...
In all seriousness your going to love it,, after your all healed up tell your woman she can do anything and everything she wants with it, slap it, jack it, beat it, ride it, yank it, abuse the hell out it, and put away wet,, it dosen't matter,, when she is ready for it again,,, look her in the eye,, start pulling it out,, and tell her (I'M ALWAYS READY)
After 4 Titan IPP failures within 4 years I finally wised up and went to the Malleable Genesis 23cm- 13mm implanted 2-1-24 and no regrets so far.
For those that are asking, I'm going to change the wifeys avatar weekly.

Hi, I mention unpopped popcorn as an ice bag not peas, but whatever works for u. I had ED for 2 years due to a stroke before my implant. So woke up with my cock all stretched out where it had been flacid for 2 yrs. Of course there was pain but I never took anything but over the counter for it and it passed fairly quickly. Fast forward to 6-2024 had to have a revision, almost positive done by a student not the surgeon I hired. It hurt worse than the 2 other surgeries and continued to hurt for almost 6 months and still hurts. I would have thought since I already had an implant the space was already stretched out. Should have been a simple surgery was the worse one yet. So I know it's different for each guy, but surgeon/student skills I think plays into it.
Rigicon since 6-2023 happy to share my experience and do show and tell

Tips are at 40% distance down from the top of the glans.

Thanks Duke. I started taking pain meds and could feel some difference after a couple of doses. I think I will continue this for at least the first two weeks. I will definitely ask about pointing straight at my follow-up appointment.

There seems to be a debate against icing regimen, one theory is it constricts blood vessels, reduces swelling and numbs away the pain, but in that process, it sends less oxygen-rich nutrients to the tissues, disrupting natural processes, which in turn can delay overall healing while providing symptomatic relief.

Some seem to take a middle position and recommend against continuous icing, suggesting its use only as needed once every couple hours in the initial days if pain meds are not very effective.
